Budget friendly, clean and all around nice, including the desk people.
I’m big on personal choices and personal freedoms, and appreciate that this place offers both smoking and non smoking rooms, and that they are pet friendly. Would stay here again if in the area

You get what you pay for. The first room that I received was a handicapped room, which is what I booked only based on price not need, and the room had a musty odor and the bathroom was especially musty smelling. The bathroom was also pretty run down looking. I think the odor problem is due to the fact that when you take a shower it floods the bathroom floor because there isn’t a barrior to block the water. I had to keep putting towels on the floor to soak up the water. I spent 2 nights in this room and finally decided to see if I could move rooms also due to a neighbor who was sick and coughing all night hence keeping me up. The second room I got was much better and in better condition. One of the main reasons I picked this hotel was because it had an indoor pool and hot tub however I was extremely disappointed in the pool area. It was old and run down, the one hot tub or whirlpool connected to the pool was disgusting looking like it’s never cleaned which kept me out of the pool too just because I didn’t want to take the chance it wasn’t clean. The other hot tub appeared to be ok and the first time I used it, it was ok… nice and warm but it’s more of a personal/​home style hot tub so not really conducive to this type of environment for multiple people that are strangers. The 2^nd time I went to use it the temp was luke warm like cool bath water and it had stuff floating in it. I was freezing after getting out. I didn’t use it after that. And, the «fitness room» is a joke! 1 treadmill and a stepper. This facility is ok for a business travel only staying a night or 2 but for someone that is on vacation and wants to stay longer and have a relaxing pool etc this is not the place to be. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast has several choices and the waffles you make yourself were fabulous! The eggs however appeared to be those thin patties that you find on convenience store breakfast sandwiches. It was very odd. Overall though the breakfast was very satisfactory.

Went to a birthday party here. The host rented a conference room for the party and the first thing I noticed how the wall paper was peeling off the walls. The general appearance was kind of dirty looking. When I first walked in the front desk woman was setting on the lobby couch and was not even behind the desk.
Not impressed at all.

Pretty decent hot breakfast of egg patties, sausage links, biscuits & gravy– yogurt– a cereals; as long as u get there early. Rooms were very spacious, staff was extremely nice. My folks booked 4 rooms, and we were all happy. Didnt get to use the pool, but the kids did. There were 13 in our party and they kept all our rooms together. Room was about $ 90 with AARP discount.

This hotel is my idea of the perfect budget-​friendly stay! Every part of the hotel was clean and up to date. Check-​in was friendly and quick. They have comfortable, modern & well-​decorated rooms with mini fridge, down comforters, great pillows, in-​room safes, etc. The bathrooms were the most dated part of the guest rooms but still perfectly sufficient. We took advantage of the indoor pool, hot tub & sauna. There were plenty of restaurants nearby but the 7 pm cookies-​and-​milk and large hot breakfast cut down on those costs for my party and I. Breakfast options included fruit, yogurt, and boiled eggs, which is always nice. After staying at a less than stellar (and pricier) hotel nearer downtown KC, we felt thoroughly welcomed by this hotel which is only a short trek out of the city. It was heavenly and I would definitely go out of the way to stay here again!

Traveling with a rabbit in a cage– put us in a «pet room», but didn’t charge us a deposit.
Non– smoking room, but right next to the door where everyone smokes.
PET ROOM was HORRIBLE. Pees soaked wallpaper (dried), spotted rugs, beds had plastic covers under the sheets (do you have night sweats? Now you do.) Messed up bathroom door– looks like they used a hack saw to cut it to size, torn up carpet. It was just gross and smelled.
Nasty free breakfast. Glad to leave in the morning.
