History

Established in 1975.

Our founding dentist, Richard L. Parsanko DDS, was seeing patients in a little 2 room office above the Pharmacy Shoppe, located in the Independence Square. Dr. Parsanko then moved to the building right next door to our current location in 1978.

Dr. Dean Carmichael joined Dr. Parsanko in 1984 and spent his first year in that facility. The practice was then moved into our current building.

Dr. William Brosky joined Drs. Parsanko and Carmichael as an associate doctor in 1990 and then quickly became their partner.

Dr. Paul Russ joined Rockside Family Dental Care in 2007 as an associate doctor, and became a partner in 2008. That same year, our founder Dr. Parsanko relocated to sunny Arizona.

In December 2011, we welcomed our newest associate, Dr. Jason Jeran.

Dr. Carmichael graduated from The Ohio State University with degrees in Microbiology and Virology before attending Ohio Stated Dental School, where he received his Doctorate in Dentistry in 1984. Shortly after graduation he joined Rockside Family Dental and has been in practice here since 1984. He enjoys the variety that a family dental practice provides and especially treating dental phobic patients.

Dr. Carmichael has studied at the renowned Las Vegas Institute for advanced dental cosmetic procedures as well as neuromuscular treatment of TMJ pain and implant dentistry.
