Located on the Independence Square, the Studio On Main caters to those who value health and fitness. Featuring Pilates, Yoga, Spinning and Reformer classes for varying fitness levels – beginner to advanced. Studio on Main offers classes and equipment that will change the way you look and feel taught by instructors that hold years of experience and national certifications. Belly Dancing, Tai Chi, Circuit Training and a variety of other classes will keep boredom at bay and help you to make fitness part of your life.

History

Established in 2007.

Providing Independence, MO and the surrounding communities with instructor-​led fitness classes. Small class sizes and highly trained staff ensures that students see maximum results in a safe and friendly atmosphere.

Meet the Manager

Sally W.

Manager

Sally Whitaker is manager and lead trainer at the Studio On Main and has nearly 10 years in the fitness and health fields. Sally is currently a Peak PilateSystem Comprehensive trainer.

While studying exercise science from 2004 – 2007 Sally worked as a personal trainer at her local YMCA and also as a physical therapy assistant in 2007 and spent time working with patients at 3 different clinics.

Beginning her journey to becoming Pilates certified in 2007 she has been studying the classical Pilates work since that time.

Sally currently teaches Pilates equipment and mat classes as well as Flow Yoga, Cross Training, Indoor Cycle as well as booking as many private Reformer sessions and Personal Training sessions as possible.

Sally’s classes focus on alignment, strengthening the total body, proper technique, anatomy and balance. Working with everyone from athletes to those with chronic health issues is all in a days work.
