A Riverside Retreat is a 2 Bed/​1 Ba vacation rental home in the scenic town of Index, WA located along the Skykomish River that has HUGE VIEWS of the surrounding mountains and river. This area is known as the Wild Sky Wilderness Area and has a vast amount of amazing hiking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, fishing and more.

Only 1 hour from Seattle and 30 minutes from Stevens Pass, this cozy home sleeps 6 in luxury beds and comes fully equipped including hot tub, wireless Internet, cable TV with flatscreen and 40 movie library, Bose stereo with mp3 jack, a dozen board games, Wii console, free long distance, free gourmet coffee, free popcorn, stocked kitchen and much more.

History

Established in 2010.

When this property came available we had to have it because it has the biggest lot and the best views in town. But unfortunately we can’t live in Index full time. So we decided to make it available as a vacation home so we could still enjoy it several weeks a year. We completely remodeled it from top to bottom including new paint, new flooring, new bathroom, new beds and furniture to make it the best we could offer. We have traveled all around the world and know that small touches make the difference between ho hum and amazing. We hope you enjoy our efforts!

Business Owner

Ken grew up in the town of Index and his parents still live there. Ken owns an email marketing agency called Email Broadcast and works over the Internet. This flexibility allows him to travel and work from nearly any location so Ken and his wife are currently located in San Luis Obispo but get back to Index frequently.
