Wow, what a total gem of a shop out in the middle of nowhere! I really wanted to stop here when I saw the «A» board sign, mainly because my grandpas name was Clarence which isn’t to common. We also needed some directions to some property near by.
When we pulled up the proprietor was busy raking leaves and warmly greeted us. We walked inside the small shed like building and it was cozy and filled with the most high quality lovely locally made items! I bought several pieces, as the prices were incredibly reasonable.
I am dying to go back when they put some Christmas items out. I also regret not buying one of the beautiful wood slab cheese boards that were there, I hope they will have some when I return.
Ellie and Clarence is a definite stop when your on your way over the mountains or anywhere in the general vicinity!
