The organization, selection and (mostly) fair pricing has become overshadowed by the rudeness of the volunteers. Of course many of the volunteers are lovely people who are kind & courteous, but a few others overcompensate for the normal ones.
For those with a grudge against shoppers, asking a simple question about sales is a gamble. Chances of receiving a cordial answer or being berated for not reading and remembering the details on the sandwich board you saw 30 minutes ago are ⁵⁰⁄₅₀.
If one wants to measure an item wrapped in 40 layers of plastic wrap, it needs management approval. The volunteer who worked on it took so much trouble to make it tidy is pissed because they forgot the purpose of having merch is to sell it, not present it and keep it. They are annoyed if you want to touch things before you buy, but have a no-​return policy.
The jewelry counter is hidden behind the butts of people in the line for the register. Requesting to view an item obscured behind severely scratched glass counters from the ‘50s is treated as if it’s unreasonable.
Yes, I’ll still go. Yes, I’ll still buy things. But I am very guarded when interacting with the staff, as I don’t know whether I’ll witness a tantrum or not.

I just happened to stumble upon this store. It was an unexpected delight.
This store is large and has several buildings. It was well organized which makes it easier to find hidden treasures. Prices are fair.
I collect tea cup sets and found several that I loved. The sets were in the $ 2.00−3.00 range. They have quality products. Staff was friendly. The store is affiliated with the church and I am assuming some of the proceeds helps the Parrish. I highly recommend that if you enjoy thrifting to check this shop out. It is worth the trip.

I adore this thrift store! I found my sons’ dresser there. a total steal. yes, you must look to find the diamonds, and some things are strangely overpriced, but you can find some jewels there you’d never find anywhere else. wish I lived closer!

Very nice, very well organized, LARGE thrift store.
Huge amount of golf clubs, collectible dolls, and tupperware.
Their prices could be lower, but they ARE on the island, where everything seems to be pricier.

Its like going to Macy’s, Wal-​Mart, Sports Authority, Hobby Lobby, and Sak’s Fifth Avenue… only its a thrift store. It is spotless and extremely organized inside and even has a high-​end boutique.
Not only is this an awesome place for great finds, but this organization’s revenue feeds the poor, clothes the naked, and helps put a roof over a child’s head each night. Holy Name of Jesus along with Ascension Catholic Thrift shop, on Aurora Road in Melbourne, help carry out God’s work on a daily basis.
I highly recommend both of these organizations should you and your family truly need help. And those of you who wish to help… Please give some of your time, talent or treasure to these two great shops.
