What a treasure this place is… I love my french acrylics! Seriously, the best set of acrylics I’ve ever had. Linda has an eye for what shape of nails will fit your hand. She was very thorough at filing them down to a beautiful size and shape, making sure the sides were well filed so they wouldn’t lift and making sure the undersides of the nails were also done.
Beauty is definitely in the details.
She did an amazing job.

Bottom Line Up Front: the mani/​pedi they gave my 6 year old daughter was fine. The store is a little run down and not the most sanitary but not dirty either. However, the manager needs to work on managing the schedule and the appointments as well as customer service.
Longer version: when we walked in at just after 11am on a Tuesday, the manager asked us to return at 12 because she had other appointments arriving. At that point, the manager started to show my daughter the kids’ pedicure chairs that they have. I repeatedly asked her not to do that because it would mislead her into thinking she would have the pedicure right away. She pointedly ignored me. I should have left at that point and never returned but by that time, my daughter was dazzled by the kitty chair and wanted to stay.
We didn’t really have any other place to go so we hung out for a while and went back in closer to 12. When we went in, they started my daughter’s pedicure, finished that, and moved on to her manicure. I was still sitting there unattended because the staff of 3 has multiple other appointments at 11 and 12 coming in. When I asked if I would be seen, they said not until after my daughter was done. Also, apparently only the manager is capable of doing gel manicures so I would have to wait even longer for her to finish with her client.
So…after being asked to leave and come back, have my specific requests with regard to my daughter ignored, and then have the actual timing of the services completely mismanaged, I tell the manager that I am done and will pay for my daughter’s services and leave.
She insists that they can take care of me and just have my daughter wait. However, I know that because she’s 6 and has now been sitting around for essentially 2 hours because of the time mismanagement, she won’t be able to sit around for another 1.5 hours waiting for my services to be done. I explain all of this to the manager and explain if she had just told us to come back at 3pm, none of this would have been a problem. Instead, I’m unhappy with her because of the time mismanagement and misleading information. She seems completely unapologetic.
Cannot recommend this place at all.

The best place to go for nails and pedicure Linda is the best and the place is very clean and she has gel color are the best you must go to Crystal so nails I give them ten stars

Don’t bother making an appointment. They could care less. They’ll take people 5 minutes prior to your reserved time and make you wait.

I went for an eyebrow wax and the lady started waxing my lip without asking. I have a huge burn mark on my lip now. Not a good experience at all

I can’t believe Crystals exists just across from the beach! A super relaxing atmosphere and wonderful service. I had the #2 pedicure and I found it surpassed my expectations for a through spa treatment and relaxation.

I can’t say enough good things about Crystals Nails. They do a fantastic pedicure and gel manicure… in fact, it’s one of the few places I have ever been where the manicure lasts until removed. They take their time and make the visit worth the cost. I have never felt rushed and usually have to ask for them to stop at a certain time because they pay so much attention to detail. There are many salons closer to where I live but won’t even consider trying them because of how happy I am here!

Snow did an amazing job in my nails. We had such a great time we decided to go back next year and do it again. I have found a new place to get my nails done from now on.
I had gels on both my hand and toes. As well as an intricate design on both and everyone was complimenting me on them.

I’ve been a regular customer at Crystal’s since December. My first visit was fantastic! In fact, until my last two visits my experience had been the best I had ever had at any salon. In March, I expected nothing but the best. However, when I arrived things had changed. There were two new women working. My favorite nail specialist is Snow. She does a fantastic job! I always get gel or shellac on my hands. After Snow does her magic they look fantastic. The other person that I really like in the salon is an older woman and I do not know her name. But, she will make all of your troubles go away with her massage during your pedicure! In March I arrived and only had time for a pedicure. Snow was busy with another customer. I had an appointment and was taken right in. One of the new women took care of my pedicure. While she did a fine job, the other woman tried to upsell me several times for a one hour massage pedicure. One of the reasons I like the salon so much, is not only do they do a great job, but they do not try to upsell you. They also speak English in front of you. They are friendly and hold conversations with you and make you feel like you belong. So, that was strike one for the new people. A few days ago I called the salon and asked for an appointment with Snow. When I arrived there were three women working. One was the woman who does an amazing pedicure. One was the woman who tried to upsell me. And one was yet another new person. No Snow. My pedicure was great. However, the woman who did my shellac on my hands was the woman who tried to upsell me last time. My nails are a wreck! I asked for a French manicure. The white part on my nails are not even. In other words, not all of my fingers have the same width of white. Not only that but the lines are crooked, they don’t go all the way across my fingers, there are rough edges, and the shellac does not even go all the way to the back of my nail. I am very disappointed. I hate to say this but I don’t think I will go back. When I was in the salon, I thought my nails looked okay. I have to admit I didn’t have my glasses on. When I got home, upon closer inspection, I could really see how bad they were. The changes in personnel are terrible. Strike 2 – 5! Sad to find, then lose such a gem.

After reading reviews here on Unilocal we went. We are very pleased with everything! Friendly and clean. Lovely people. Great pedicures! It’s nice knowing great service is close by.

Fabulous place. Friendly and clean. I was a walk in and they got me in in 30 minutes. Snow did a fabulous job.

I’ve been coming here exclusively for almost two years. Everybody always takes such fantastic care of me. My nails look great and I’m constantly getting compliments on them, even after a week or two. I recommend them to eveybody.

While on vacation I went to Crystal’s with my daughter for a manicure/​pedicure and I wish I lived here so that I could go there regularly. Lily was so sweet to my daughter and offered to use 2 different colors and give her a glitter top coat, she was in heaven! My pedicure and manicure was divine! Crystal’s pays great attention to detail and takes customer satisfaction very seriously. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Indian Rocks!
