************above all else, I enjoy service. Food can be mid to average, however, with good-to-great service you can still enjoy a high rating, high review. Good service means to me that you’ve listened or you tried, probably both– We wish not for croutons or tortilla’s in soup. As a carryout order? Soup is described by us as mush-poor business model for hot food– although it’s still hot, it’s a hot mush. *think back when you left your favorite cereal in the milk for too long? YUUUUUUUUCCCCCCK : I could have easily been bothered to add tortillas from one container to my chicken soup-I doubt in any way I would have ‘blamed’ you for NOT adding tortillas before the soup arrived. Now it sits on the range, as I contemplate tossing it. or reheating crab alfredo-what a disappointment not to have a hot soup on a cold rainy day–

The waiter was awesome. But once a table of young cute girls came by my table was neglected. I can’t blame him though. The facilities is not that tidy. We saw food on the floor of a cleared table. This place is better for happy hour fun.

Went to Applebee’s for lunch… I don’t frequent here too often but for the price, it’s not bad.

We came in for lunch and sat in the bar. It took a very long time for our food, and without even having to complain, the bartender and manager covered the cost of our food. It was great customer service, especially since we had not even said anything!

Terrible service :( We had to wait for long to get our main course. The waiter was not at all interested in serving the food or refiling the drink. Highly disappointed with the service.

«Red» was a terrible waitress; didn’t even put my order in… don’t know why I even left a tip.

While dining here, we received some of the best service we’ve ever received at a restaurant chain. Jason, a tall dark-haired guy with a nore skipper-style chin beard, gave impeccable service. H brought us extra fries to try because they now offer seasoned fries and homemade chips. It didn’t take much time out for him but it really differentiated him from the standard server you generally see at these locations. He was funny and made good small talk when he visited the table. He was also speedy with drink refills. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from a server. Everything he did was probably a mirror image of what the Applebee’s employee training manual should be. The food here was good but the level of service that we received is what made the difference in our dining experience. Jason, or someone like him should be in charge of training for Applebee’s servers, he was that good. If all of the company’s servers treated patrons the way he treated us, Applebee’s would attract a much larger percent of individuals dining out than they currently do. I can honestly say that I would drive well out of my way to have this quality of service again.

I frequent this location from time to time because it is close to where I live. I am now writing a review because I am repeatedly frustrated with the service. I ordered a medium well sirloin and it was over done. I politely brought it to there attention and not much concern was conveyed. I am just continuously disappointed with the service and after spending another 60 bucks here I will say there are other good places with good food in this area I will go to from now on. #overit

Stopped in today for Mother’s Day and was seated right away for a party of six(2 adults/4 kids). We got our drink & appetizer order in right away, promptly followed by our lunch order. Food came out in a timely manor and was 100% accurate and delicious. The manager stopped by many times to visit with the kids and keep them entertained while mommy & daddy got to eat their food. Overall I am very happy with today’s service and friendliness and would highly recommend it to anybody. Thanks for making my wife’s mother’s day lunch a pleasant one.

Let me start by saying that the 1 star is because of the service at the bar. The food I had was togo and pretty good, but the service was HORRIBLE at the bar. The hostess was friendly, but«Big Red» the lady with the red hair at the bar was nasty. She walked up to the area we were seating at and asked the guy to my left all sorts of questions about his meal. She greet and served the couple who walked in at the same time as us at the bar. While we waited for service and food, we watched as she broke glasses in the sink, complained about the other bartender leaving, made a mess of the drinks, dropped all sorts of bartending accessories on the floor, let glasses pile up on the bar, and never once washed her hands. After picking up a blender part off the floor, she made about 8 drinks again never washing her hands and touched the bottom of the straw she put in someone’s drink. NASTY!!! She was slamming glasses, bottle, and anything she touched. She had major attitude with everyone from guests to other Applebee employees including the managers. I am surprised they didn’t fire her. We really were excited when we walked in because it looked remodeled and had a lot of people in there for a Friday night. Also Applebee’s had been advertising a new menu. We may give it another try, but we will definitely be leaving if Big Red is at the bar.

Lunch specials: price was okay — hubby and I both got a signature and classic choice for 7.99. The Thai salad with Shrimp was worth it. he 4 cheese griller was pretty greasy but it came with a small cup of the tomato basil soup which was good. We had the sweet potato fry appetizer with sauces priced at 4.99 was okay but for the amount of fries you got was a little over priced. Basically an over all okay

Not a great dining experience. The service was incredibly slow. We had to continually ask for the same things(drinks, sugar, water, etc). We also had to wait quite a while to be waited on and for our food. I had the small sirloin and it was the largest piece of gristle I’ve ever had. Only half of the steak was edible. I would have sent it back but it would have taken another 30 – 40 minutes to get a new one. On a side note, my daughter was having extremely low blood sugar and needed a piece of bread or a roll until her food got there. But they charged me for the small piece of bread! Probably will not at this one again.

Applebee’s isn’t really my thing, but I had a gift card, so we stopped in. It was actually pretty good. My wife’s portabella chicken was very tasty and perfectly cooked. My bourbon street steak was also cooked nicely, but it did have that weird Applebee’s steak texture. The pretzel sticks were a really good appetizer, though. Ceasar salads were fresh and good. Not too shabby, Applebee’s!

This is the only Applebee’s I will go to. I usually hit this location after shopping at Castleton Mall. I try to stay away from the food court there. Service is good and food always comes out promptly. This place is also kid friendly. Last time I took my niece and nephew here and the servers made sure even the kids were taken care off. My favorite right now is the pretzel breadsticks appetizer.

What can I say? I LOVE Applebee’s food and I wasn’t disappointed here. The place was clean, staff good and service good as well. I had the grilled shrimp and spinich salad and wasn’t disappointed. I would go back again if in the area.

I went on a Friday night around 8& the place was far from busy or packed, which was great. Of course once it got near 9 it started to get packed due to the half price apps. Here’s the deal w/the half price apps not all are half price so be sure to ask your server. Also all Applebees don’t participate, but this one did so again you should ask your server. You also have to buy a drink to get the half price apps. The server was courteous. We had to wait a while for the rest of our our party to show up, he kept filling drinks, & checking on us. He also laughed entertained us as well. Overall good experience. I’m not a big fan of Applebees unless it’s the half price apps *just my opinion tho & we all know what those are like*

Applebee’s advertises in HI, but we don’t have any locations. So, to my surprise when I flew up to Indianapolis for the marathon and an Applebees was nearby my hotel. After being seated, I looked around and saw the décor of this place. It was abundantly clear that they are trying to mimic Chili’s. When I was there, it was relatively quiet with a few patrons on a Thursday around 4:30pm. The server was nice, although I had gotten a vibe like she didn’t really want to be there that day. Oh well. Forgot my ID and had a soda, instead of liquor. Ordered the 12 oz steak entrée to eat in restaurant while ordering the pasta carbornara for later. Both tasted good and hot the spot on a lazy day to do really nothing. Nice restaurant though. Good service and plenty of parking around the restaurant. If not, park around the Castleton Mall.

2 things to start. First, I avoid chain restaurants for the most part and second I try not to be a food snob. Today I fail at both in writing this review. Last night while shopping with my kids we stopped at Applebee’s. The place was pretty empty and we were sat right away. Right by the door I might add.(it was 11 degree’s outside, so when the door opened you knew it.) It took almost 10 minutes before our server appeared to greet us. This annoys me. He did apologize and took our order. We all wanted something fast since it was getting late so it was chicken fingers all around. I ordered mine tossed with buffalo sauce and a side of bleu cheese, the kids got the standard. Mine came out wrong… How do you mess up chicken fingers? I will say the beer was good and cold and we had front row parking. Not much else happened to help raise the rating. We paid the check and hit the door.
