I went there to look at car seats(ended up buying one from their website) and got great help from the staff at the store at least 3 times! Especially a woman named Keisha. My daughter’s bumble bee costume is super cute! I only gave it 4 stars because I think the prices could be better. This was within the past month so maybe the store has worked on its staffing since the previous reviews? Also they have a very nice room for nursing.

I wasn’t wowed by this store. They are very understaffed compared to Buy Buy Baby, and the staff does not seem nearly as knowledgeable about use or location of products. Also, the selection is not as good(we brought a list of items from Consumer Reports for our registry and they only carried one item). They do shine in some ways: — great selection of baby clothes — good prices — moderate selection of maternity clothes — very helpful registry staff — a man in the stroller department was very helpful in showing us how to break down a stroller

I’ve never had a great experience at a BRU. This is the reason why I always go straight to the Customer Service counter to get a gift card for any of my expecting friends. Today I tried to print my own registry that I started online and had no success since it couldn’t be found. I then had to wait in a 5-customer deep line only to be told there were no more scanners available to add to my registry. Don’t go here– go to the Buy Buy Baby next door. It’s an easier store to navigate with better and faster registry and customer service. Plus you can use 20% off coupons at BBB(they also accept current Bed Bath And Beyond coupons there).

The store is huge and it’s one of my go to places for my son’s organic bottled food. Make sure to sign up for their membership rewards so they can mail you a check to go shop once in awhile. They also have valuable coupons the next time you shop.

The only time this store is worth it is when you have a 40% off coupon AND the item WITHDISCOUNT is cheaper than buying it online. Which almost never happens. The only reason I was in this store so much last year was because this is where I registered for baby stuff so this is where I had to come to return duplicates and spend gift cards. If ANY other store existed at the time I would have used it over this place. The biggest complaint I have is the state of the bathroom and diaper changing room. Hey, I dont REQUIRE a diaper changing room but if you’re going to offer one, recognize it’s going to be an extra stinky room and you will have to make an effort to keep it clean by emptying the trash more than once a week. Also, they sell maternity clothes but offer no changing room. THEBATHROOMDOESNOTCOUNTAS A CHANGINGROOM. I do not want to get topless in a place that smells like Mr Hanky while my sense of smell is as sensitive as a bloodhound’s thanks to all the raging pregnancy hormones. Also, maternity clothes are horribly hard to size because the female body changes wildy in the 9 months it grows another being inside of it so there is not a woman on the planet that«knows» her maternity clothing size without trying it on first. I opted to take a wild guess at my size, bought without trying on and had to come back to this horrible store to return the ill fitting top. The staff ranges from horrible rude to very helpful. It’s a total crapshoot. The babies R Us brand stuff(Like the 10 pack of bibs) tends to be pretty good quality for the price but I’ve found ANYTHING name brand can be bought cheaper online. This store is best for baby shower guests to shop in for gifts predetermined by the mom to be and that’s pretty much it.

First, I am kind of shocked I am the first to review this establishment. Second, I am REALLY shocked I haven’t reviewed it yet, since I practically lived here the first 6 months of my son’s life. I am OVERALL not a fan, but for convenience, I have limited baby shopping options. Buy Buy Baby is the shit and I would spend ALL my money there if I could, but it is well over an hour away and if you have read any of my other reviews, you know I don’t like to drive much further than 3 miles to get somewhere… so even BRU is out of my way. BRU has the basics and a lot of crap you do NOT need or will EVER need for your child. Everything is comparable to what you would get anywhere else, but it does tend(from what i have heard) to be more expensive than Wal-mart(but that is one devil store I refuse to shop). For registering, I think it’s a must do, b/c BRU is everywhere and Buy Buy Baby is still building their name and don’t have nearly as many locations. The plus side about BRU is that everyone has heard of it and it’s a trusted name… the downside is that it is a «trusted» name and generally is a terrible store. The staff is not well educated in products. They only(barely) know how to run the cash register. The return policy is outrageously annoying (SPECIALTIPFORALLTHOSEREGISTERING: Put everything you might never want on your registry and if you want, take it back for an in store credit. If it’s NOT on your registry and you have no receipt. they will not give you any sort of credit. If you receive something that is not on your registry, you can EDIT it before you go into the store and get the credit, but if you don’t, you are SOL). This is all a lot of information for a pregnant girl and seemingly unnecessary in my opinion. What is wrong with having a flexible policy especially for new moms!!! Everything is difficult enough… by all means, make it as un-user friendly as possible. BRU’s rewards program is also bunk. Supposedly the more you spend, the more coupons and treats you get. Not so much! It’s just another way to over-spam your email account. Options are FAIRLY limited. Don’t expect to find the likes of more upscale baby accessories like the Bugaboo or Uppa Baby Vista. They only carry more typical name brands… and typically extremely cheap product as well. That all being said, they have much of what you want/need. While the store may be disorganized and their staff is indifferent and useless, if you are in there long enough, you’ll keep them in business and probably find what you are looking for. Yes, I keep going back, but only b/c my options are so limited in the Indy area… and I continually receive BRU gift cards which I cannot exchange for cash(dammit!).
