History

Established in 1952.

1962 — Bill Bastian, Sr. purchased the company from Elgan Stark and became the new President

1965 — Opened office in Louisville, KY

1969 — Opened office in Fort Wayne, IN

1988 — Opened office in Evansville, IN

1992 — Bill Bastian II purchased Bastian from Bill Bastian Sr and became the new President of Bastian Material Handling

1997 — Purchased ASAP Automation

By 1999 — Added offices in Michigan & Missouri

2001 — Halo, LLC. was formed to serve as a holding company for Bastian, ASAP Automation, and future acquisitions or start-​ups

2003 — Purchased Hytrol of California

2003 — Opened office in Los Angeles, CA

2003 — Blue Arc engineering formed

2005 — Purchased VanPak

2008 — Opened office in Toledo, OH

2009 — Helen Wells Agency joined Halo family

2009 — Bastian Robotics opened office in MN

2010 — Bastian Canada & Bastian Saudi Arabia opened

2010 — Opened office in Atlanta, GA

2011 — Bastian Brazil & Bastian Australia opened
