I started in the sign business, in 1988 when graduating high school. I started out digging holes on the installation side of things, because, NO SHOP in town was willing to just start an 18 yr. old kid straight out of high school in the art department. Once getting experience on the installation side, I slowly worked my way into the inhouse production side of things, then to the customer service side (where I truly thrived), then into sales, then FINALLY to the artist chair. Then in 1998, I received an awesome opportunity at an awning company as Head of the Art Department, and then a few months later, due to the owner deciding to close down and retire, my job was gone… It was then, I decided to be in control of my own destiny and started my own sign business. It was at that time that I realized, I liked the Sales & Customer Service as much or more than the artist side of things. I will always be an artist first and a sign specialist second, but I found as time went along the
