Not a horrible cookie spot at all a little to sweet for me. They are definitely convenient while your shopping so I can’t say I won’t go back… just nothing to write home about

Do me a favor: Think about a cookie that is like a ball of shortbread covered in powdered sugar. What is this cookie called? A Mexican Wedding Cake, right? At Blondie’s, it’s called a Wedding Cake. No Mexican. No Mexican? NOMEXICAN. Hmmm, very interesting. Now type«wedding cake cookie» into Google and tell me what results you get. You might see a picture of a sugar cookie shaped like a cut-out wedding cake, and you’ll probably also see recipes for Mexican Wedding Cakes. Those powdered-sugar-covered shortbread balls are not called Wedding Cakes, they’re called Mexican Wedding Cakes. Why no Mexican, Blondie’s? Yes, why indeed. Let’s just take that in for a moment. Anyway. One of the cookies we got was AMAZING(it wasn’t the Mexicanless Wedding Cookie). It was a sugar cookie with frosting and sprinkles. Holy cow. The frosting was so good, and the cookie was cake-like and tender and buttery. I’d go back just to eat a dozen more of those. I’m not usually one to enjoy frosted cookies, either, so I’m shocked at how much I liked it. It’s a must-try if you’re at the mall, and are in the mood for a cookie, and want to drop a dollar and change on said cookie.

I guarantee you will never indulge on frosting as light and fluffy and buttery as that of a Blondie’s ‘Sprinkle’ cookie. The cookie itself is more cake like than cookie. Oh so soft and such wonderful texture making the cookie the perfect place for the frosting to rest. And don’t forget about the fun sprinkles on top! For Halloween the cookies are decorated as pumpkins. So adorable! My most recent purchase was the mini version of the Sprinkle in a count of eight for a gift. Of course I bought one for myself too! But beware… even the our feline friends like the Sprinkle cookie! I discovered my cat licking the frosting off of one I left on the kitchen counter. My guess is she was after the cream cheese! Too funny! Everything else about Blondie’s is great. Cheery store-front. Nice staff. All around love this Indiana family-owned business!

I don’t understand the knocks to Blondie’s Cookies… were you guys ordering the Sprinkles cookie? Soft vanilla shortbread, a mountain of buttercream frosting dusted with sprinkles… this is an OUTSTANDING recipe that gives me a sugar rush like no other. My only complaint is that the experience ends after the last bite. I did a large order of the Sprinkles cookies for a wedding shower in Illinois over the summer, and everyone sang high praises over these buttery, frosted delights. I am shocked to read these other reviews, because anyone who has tasted this specific cookie has been just as enthusiastic about them. Please give these cookies another chance, Unilocalers!

So I am an absolute Shark Tank addict, and I saw Blondie’s Cookies on Shark Tank and just had to try. Well, I tried them and I wasn’t super impressed. They were good, but definitely did not give me the«WOW» factor. I just wanted to try them to say I did but I doubt I would go out my way to go back.

Cookies are not very good. Bland and seem somewhat underbaked. I’m usually long winded, but when you’re not impressed, you can’t really recall much. Their drink selection(or lack thereof) also sucked. Mrs. Field’s at the opposite end of this mall is much better, with a full menu of food and drinks. A lot friendlier too.

Fudge brownie was crusty. Not recommended as a mid-shopping pick me up. =P

I don’t have much to say about Blondie’s Cookies except«sugar cookies!» I haven’t even tried any of the other goodies here, sad to say. For a time, I worked in the Fashion Mall and one day, discovered this out-of-the-way shop. I had heard a rumor that Blondie’s sugar cookies were the best. Now, I always thought my mom took that honor, so I had to find out. Sorry, mom… okay, Blondie’s may not be ‘better’ but they are truly scrumptious. I don’t like frosting very much… I love Blondie’s version of the stuff. I don’t really want to know what’s in it, I’m sure absolutely nothing that is good for you! The cookies aren’t cheap, but they are delish… and a great way to soothe the frazzled nerves of your co-workers when the one thing every shopper seems to want is the exact item your company headquarters forgot or neglected to ship! Blondie’s Cookies is near Anthropologie and Bare Escentuals, which makes a great shopping trifecta!
