This is one of the best wine stores in Indianapolis!
It has become my «goto» for wine selections. The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They are interested in what the customer wants rather than what they want to sell. They even care the wine (I always get a case) to the car for you.
As you’ll see from other reviews, and their site, the wines are reasonably priced and the selections is very good.
If you are a wine lover, you owe it to yourself to stop in and check it out.

I love this little shop. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, they have great knowledge on the next best of comparable wine. Want a bottle of white and want to drink ASAP? They also have a machine that will chill it immediately for you! Love love love!!!

My wife and I have been going here since it opened. It’s not your typical wine shop for all the good reasons. We’ve never had a bad wine here. Whether we needed a daily drinker, dinner companion, or a nice celebration bottle, Cork &Cracker has come through!
The staff is very helpful (or hands off if you know what you want) and the owner always has a great description of the wine and even friendly conversation or story too!

Super friendly staff that are knowledgable and never make you feel stupid if you do not know about wine. No wine snobbery here. Cooking a particular meal? Stop by and ask them what a good wine pairing would be. For less than $ 15 you will get a great wine to go with your entrée.
Also they have a nice selection of local cheeses and meats that are a perfect pairing for your wine selection.

Cork & Cracker is pretty much the only place I buy wine in Indy. Ron, Michelle, and Tim are so friendly and helpful. They are more than happy to help you find something you’ll love at a price point you’re looking for, even if that price point is «as cheap as possible» like mine usually is. They have a great email newsletter that let’s you know about all the awesome events they have (tastings, book clubs, educational events). I almost never leave there without 4 or 5 bottles of great wine. Definitely give Cork & Cracker a visit.

Don’t know anything about wine but wanted to bring some to a party I was going to. After reading Unilocal reviews I decided to give this place a try. Walked in and told the person working there that I wanted two nice bottles (a red and a white) for someone who is very knowledgeable about wine. He asked my price range and immediately helped me pick. They were a big hit at the party. This place has a great selection of wine in all price ranges and if you don’t know anything about wine you will not feel intimidated at all and will get great help!

This store was great! I know nothing about wine, but needed 3 bottles for a present and the owner was super helpful. He helped me pick out 3 bottles quickly and I will definitely go back again!

Outstanding! First of all, I have to praise the customer service. I walked in at 8:01 without realizing they closed at 8:00. I apologized, and was ready to leave when the woman at the register told me she’d be happy to stay open. I’ve had places that roll their eyes when I walk in 10 minutes before closing, so this was refreshing. I promised I would be quick, but I didn’t realize how challenging it would be to pull myself away from this adult candy store!
The woman explained that all wines located in the center of the store were under $ 15 and were arranged by style. Wines in racks on the perimeter were pricier. There is a discount for buying a case, so I was happy to find six bottles that looked yummy. This was not a difficult task, as I had a cart full of wine in about 4 minutes.
Don’t let this place intimidate you. Some people assume coming into a wine shop will be a bad experience unless you are a vino or have $ 50+ to drop on a bottle. Not the case! They have a variety of options for every budget and will make suggestions if you tell them what you’re looking for. I will be back!

If you want a decent bottle of wine without having to search through a myriad of undesirable options, try the Cork and Cracker. They have a large selection of good wine, and they cover the spectrum of price options. The owner is super friendly; he loves to help you find what you’re looking for, and he always has a new recommendation. They have an assortment of wine-​themed gifts and knick knacks as well as a few local cheeses and meats in the refrigerator.

Favorite wine shop in Indy. This place is great if you’re looking to find new wines. Good selection of wines arranged by characteristics, which has helped me discover a few new favorites. Staff is always able to provide recommendations. Place is not pretentious or expensive.

We stopped in here Saturday just because I had never been in and we definitely enjoy wine! I was impressed with the way the store is organized — VERY helpful when you already know what you prefer, and how much you can spend! We got on the mailing list for the wine tastings that are apparently held next door to the shop. This will be our new place to purchase vino!!!

A boutique wine store with affordable options and a knowledgeable attendant — this is the place to go if you don’t know a lot about wine or you want to find wines unavailable in traditional liquor or grocery stores.
The wines are sectioned by flavor and price, making it easy to only look for what you like and can afford. There’s a small craft beer section, mostly imports I hadn’t heard of before. I’m not sure the beer holds up as well as wine so I wonder if they are able to rotate them out frequently.
Indiana artisans like Frittle Candy and Fermenti Artisan align the shelves along with gourmet snacks and olives. Salami and duck confit from Goose the Market were enticing options for this meat eater.
We were assisted by someone who knew their wines and offered a suggestion for a zinfandel I very much enjoyed. I would like to see them expand and carry more gourmet grocery items. I like the area!

Great staff to help find the perfect and affordable wine. Terrific selection and an excellent price range for all comers. They have pointed me to several excellent Malbec and Chardonnay. Unpretentious staff and a well designed display make for pleasurable shopping (and later) drinking.

Cork + Cracker is a hidden gem in the Broad Ripple area. If you like wine, this is the place for you.
The store has tons of bottles, most of them under $ 15. You can browse by taste (racks labeled spicy, earthy, sweet, bubbly, etc) or go for more of a splurge by looking at the wines on the walls. If you don’t know which bottle to choose, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and will find the perfect bottle for you. I went in saying I liked Pinot Noir, and Justin helped me find a bottle that wasn’t Pinot Noir but something new to try, and it was great.
In addition to the wines, the store offers all sorts of accessories, local foods and cheese. In the summer, try the wine well which can cool your bottle of white wine to the perfect temperature in about 6 minutes.

I always drove by Cork and Cracker because I thought that it would be way too expensive! However, I stopped by the other day in search of a certain type of wine and I was pleasantly surprised.
I would love to be a conaisseur of all wines under 20 bucks. I think that Cork and Cracker is a great starting place! Stop by if you need a recommendation.

We attended a wine tasting at Fire by the Monon on Friday night, sponsored by the local University of Wisconsin Alumni group [a.k.a. IndyBadgers] and hosted by Ashley of Cork and Cracker. What a good time was had by all. Ashley brought selections from Italy, including: Whites [2010 San Pietro Pinot Grigio and 2011 Donnafugata Lighea] and Reds [2009 Masi Modello, 2009 Cantina Zaccagnini Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, 2008 La Maia Lina Gertrude, and 2998 Passitivo Primitivo]. The selections were excellent, and Ashley’s discussion of the wines, the regions, and the tastes/​aromas were on point. We had a small group, but there were many who remarked very favorably about the store, the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff, and the selections and price points. We thank Ashley and Cork and Cracker for an excellent event, and Fire for providing an excellent venue.

If the only thing you know about wine is that you like to drink it, this is the place for you. There is a great selection of highly rated and unique wines priced below $ 15. The friendly staff take away any intimidation factor in buying wine and offer great suggestions for whatever you’re looking for.

This store continues to amaze me– a constant selection of changing wines and price points– most of the store features wines under $ 15– but you can also find a wall of wines up to $ 25 and another with wines that are $ 25 and up. The people who work here, do an amazing job of trying everything that comes into the store. Also they host events around town, and do a tasting every so often in the strip center where they are located. I am looking forward to following them more on facebook. Also the owner writes shelf tags for every wine in the store– so you get an independent view from the big magazine writes! Way to support a Hoosier Store with Hossier Dollars!

Incredibly knowledgeable and PATIENT staff… great diversity of wines you won’t find anywhere else… very few over $ 12.00. Highly recommended by this wine moron !

First, I love Byron, but I gotta disagree with his assessment of only 50 wine bottles at the ‘Cracker … They probably have about 120 bottles of wine per rack, and 10 or 12 racks, Cork and Crack definitely has over 1,000 bottles of wine on the floor alone. As for varities – I’m with you there, By. It’s probably more like 250 – 300.
Nonetheless, that’s still not bad, especially when you throw their decent craft beer selection into the mix.
Cork and Cracker just opened a new location on Michigan, but I visit the Broad Ripple location. One thing this location has that that one doesn’t: manager Justin Goldstein.
He explained the store’s thrust: They try to carry some lesser-​known wines on the wall next to their claim to fame, an entire floor of $ 15 or less wines, arranged from crisp, soft whites to big, bold reds.
One of their lesser known wines is from the inventor of Cap’n Crunch cereal, according to Justin. On another wall, upscale box wines (yup, it’s becoming the rage now – even in Europe) like Cuvee de Pena (88 points from Wine Spectator!) sit complacently.
The food is interesting too. Cork and Cracker carries Graffiti Zoo, a line of interestingly flavored chocolates whose proceeds partially benefit the Conservation Endowment Fund of the American Zoo & Aquarium Association.
Mosey over to the refrigerator case, and you’ll find an array of pâté – comically labeled «Contains no foie gras” – To a food lover, it’s almost blasphemous to nominally support Chicago’s now-​defunct ban on fattened goose liver.
But I digress. The Cork and Cracker is situated next to a couple of dog-​oriented stores, so it’s appropriate that they have one last luxurious impulse buy next to the cash register – gourmet treats for your dog, made by their own banker’s daughter.
