Every single god damn time we order from here they have fucked up the order. Might as well talk to a fucking wall. This is getting stupid.

Savannah, was wonderful. Cleanest, food was perfect, everyone was clean, neat and friendly. The store was very clean. I was so impressed. I went and told the manager.

I like Cracker Barrel but this is the least favorite of the four that I have been to. They have the slowest service ever. I go to this Cracker Barrel 2 to 3 times a year and it is always a hassle to get our food. The last time I was there the food took so long that the manager said that he would take off my dessert to make up for it but then after waiting 15 minutes for the waitress to fix the check I just got up and left paying full price because I was tired of waiting. I would like to say that I won’t go back here because I know that it will be the same next time however this is the closest Cracker Barrel to me so I probably will end up going there again.

Typical Cracker Barrel fare. Good if you want a decently priced hot meal. Fast service.

Great food and the staff was very professional. We always love looking around the gift shop. However, during our most recent visit they were super busy and had a long wait but there was no waiting area except for outside. That’s ok during the Spring/Autumn months but when it’s too hot or too cold then everyone is just crowded and pushing around the gift shop waiting to be called.

What can I say, I love Cracker Barrel! And this location was a good one for a visit. Our server was quite attentive and our food arrived quickly! I’ve been to other locations in the USA where it took forever for our food to arrive but our food arrived fast and was hot. I like the shopping area in Cracker Barrel as well — though I rarely end up buying things, oogling the displays is great fun! The table game on my table was missing a couple golf tees so it wasn’t very playable. That is my only criticism as the restaurant met and exceeded my expectations.

This is one of the better Cracker Barrels that I have eaten at. They seem to always be well staffed, so your waiter or waitress is visiting your table frequently. The food has always been hot and fresh, with large portions. The line and wait seem to go down fast.

I tried the Southport Road store yet again thinking that after all the time that had passed that they would have improved. WRONG!!! Let me say that over the years I have eaten at this chain over 100 times across the country so I know what I am talking about. I was satisfied for a long time but they suddenly started going downhill. That suggests to me that it is the fault of the managers. The waitress started out well and took our order quickly. It is all down hill after that. My wife and I both ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and specifically ordered them medium. The food arrived quickly and the fries were blazing hot but the burgers were as dry as parchment paper. Unbelievable! It is not that hard to make a damn burger! I was completely taken aback by the fact that the cooks there still cannot make a burger without burning it. You could have used the patties as hockey pucks. I complained to the manager that was walking the dining room and he apologized and said that he was not a regular at that location and he would see what he could do for me. We waited for almost 20 minutes and nothing. I think I scared him and he hid in the bathroom. I went up to the counter to pay and they asked me, of course, if all was alright. I said it was not and she called for the store manager in charge. He walked up with an angry look on his face and said«Have a good day, I got it.» I am not sure if he was angry at me or the cooks for having to give a customer a free lunch. I stiffed the waitress not because of the food but because she dropped off the plates and then dropped off the face of the earth. She did not come back to check on us because if she had then I would have told her that the food was burnt. Our water glasses ran dry and my wife got very thirsty. I am not saying that the chain as a whole is a problem but rather that this location is bad. I have eaten at many other locations all over the country and this is the worst I have ever seen. Our waitress, Mary F, was very busy collecting tips from the dirty tables. Some of you may think that I am being too harsh. I have given this place more than enough of a chance to improve and they still fall flat on their big butts.

I like the unique layout of this place. It’s almost walking into a hotel with a dining room and gift shop in one cozy area(except in this case, there is no hotel attached). It does it busy it certain peak times of the day. It seems to attract a large senior citizen crowd. I respect that part of it, it can reach all ages with their food and things to see. I think that they have a good variety of food from fish to chicken, good corn muffins and biscuits, great breakfast menu and great soups, and great lunch/dinner options. I always order the same lunch/dinner meal. I recommend the Grilled Chicken Tenderloins and always order a small side cup of BBQ sauce. I also like the comforting taste of their Mac and Cheese. You’ll never have a complaint for the fried apple slices. I also love the fruit jelly for bread items that come with the meal. I don’t come here often, because of the crowds, and it makes a better taste in the mouth when you come here once the air starts to get more chilly outside. Great Midwestern comfort food, but maybe that’s a bad thing to love our meals so much. Regardless, it’s a good place to eat at on occasion.

You know, Cracker Barrel have consistently tried to offer some healthier options on their menu and it has not gone unnoticed by this consumer. We stopped in for dinner recently on a road trip and I opted for the Lemon Pepper Grilled Rainbow Trout with a sweet potato, pinto beans, and tomato cucumber salad, all for $ 10, and you get two fish fillets, can’t beat it. If you need to feed a family, there are enough choices to keep everyone happy.

One of our favorite family restaurants! Great country food, breakfast menu is great, and nice gift shop, and the prices are reasonable. No one can beat their pancakes. Highly recommended for family gatherings.

So my wife and I have been coming to this place for a long time now. We are expecting a child and wanted to go today for mothers day because I work tomorrow. We were told we could only pay in cash if we wanted to eat because of a computer failure. I find this rather rude as you could take an imprint of my credit card, or call in authorization. How nice that we drove all the way to our favorite little place to eat, and can’t even get a meal because it seems the staff would not be bothered to call for authorizations. Epic management failure… We will find a mom and pop restaurant that prepares for things like this and makes sure it never says no to a guest. Goodbye Cracker Barrell… This is why people should not eat at chain restaurants.

Their breakfasts have a funny, sugary taste — especially the gravy. Service was so-so in that she brought the wrong order to our table. Maybe Bob Evans across the street is better? We were underwhelmed.

Stopped in at this Cracker Barrel today on the way home from Kentucky. The service was really fast and friendly, but a little less attentive that I would expect, but it was pretty busy when we went. The food was decent, but just the same as the other Cracker Barrels. Overall, though it was a good value and within minutes to the highway.

This is chain comfort food, pure and simple. I keep telling my dude that we really need to stop eating here so much, but we keep coming back. Service is usually good, with a few exceptions(the weird car on fire right outside the restaurant incident when the manager didn’t even move people away from windows or turn on ceiling fans to disperse the heavy smoke comes to mind). The servers are always friendly and quick. Quality is ok. It’s pretty standard fare, although the other night I did get an uncommonly gristly piece of meat. The sides are sometimes lukewarm, and once had stone cold green beans. Oh well. Cafeteria-style food, you mostly pay for the familiarity, speed, and kitschy knickknacks out in the front.

I am unsure why I keep coming back? This has to be the worst breakfast in town. The biscuits are hard, the gravy taste like flour and milk, the sausage patties were pink in the middle, and the hash brown casserole was cold and yucky. On a positive note the eggs were tasty and the server was friendly. Not sure why they still pack them in but guessing it’s due to portion size, we are in Indiana and Hoosiers love quantity over quality!

This is a place where I would go for Mother’s Day and Thanksgiving. The wait on Thanksgiving is usually 45 min to a hour. After the wait I was very satisfied with the food and service. I will definitely return to this restaurant.

Best bacon around! Period! I also prefer their maple syrup over other chains in the area. The food is delicious and always comes out hot and fresh. The service is always warm and inviting. The fireplace is my personal favorite on those cold Midwestern winter days. But I think what brings me back again and again is the breakfast anytime of the day, and the delicious bacon!

Disappointed. I use to look forward to going to Cracker Barrel, it was my families place of choice. But the last few meals I’ve had here have been miserable. If its anywhere near breakfast time, I get biscuits and gravy, with bacon and possible some hashbrown casserole. The biscuits are crummy anymore. they are dry and bland. They use to be flaky, buttery and had taste. Now they taste like something I’d buy in a package of 1,000 at CostCo. The service was less than stellar. our waitress was just there to churn as many people out as she could. Took forever to get my water refilled. but she sure was quick to bring out our food and clear our plates. Hopefully I can find a local breakfast place that serves good, local food

Surprisingly… I actually like this place. The food reminds me of something you’ll cook from home. Im never a fan of meatloaf and theirs is actually pretty good. The chicken and dumpling is good as well as the sugar baked ham or something. The Mac and cheese was just right as well as the rice pilaf. Mashed potatoes was good as well as the pork BBQ. Minus one for me is the corn bread. I wish they put some kernels or made it a lil moist. Overall, I will definitely go back again.
