Dave the Shoe Shine guy has been yelling, «If you got the time I got the shine» at me and others walking by for the last 2 and a half years from the Chase buildings. I’ve never stopped and partaken in his services before until today and let me tell you, I will be a repeat customer.
Getting a shoe shine for a guy is like a manicure/​pedicure for women. You walk differently when you’ve had a good one. And today, I’m walking on cloud 9.
Dave did a great job, he’s entertaining to talk to and he is as cool as they come. Sort of like having an older version of Snoop Dog shine your shoes.
I highly recommend not walking by next time and actually stopping in and giving a little time to your shoes. After all, they tell a lot about a person.
