Edy’s been cutting my hair since 1998 or 1999. When she cut my hair back then, I knew that at least when I got made fun of at junior high, it wouldn’t be for a lame haircut. Edy is very sweet and fun, and she goes out of her way for her customers. Once in a blue moon I’ll visit a more upscale salon, just for a treat and to get a new stylist’s «vision», but whenever I take the new style back to Edy the next time, she replicates it with ease. She knows just how I keep my hair parted and remembers past hairstyles. And the few times when I’ve wanted/needed a minor fix the next day, she changed it free of charge. Her prices are very affordable too– a woman’s shampoo, cut, and style is $ 18, I believe. Don’t forget to tip! She deserves it. Edy has a lot of regulars, and the place gets especially busy on Saturdays. She accepts walk-ins, but it’s best to call ahead. She has a few other stylists who work there some days, and a manicurist on staff. My mom and sister have gone to her for hair coloring and liked it, too. Oh, and she did my high school prom hairstyles. If you know where to look, there’s a photo of it in the salon… but I won’t give you any clues.
