I did not purchase anything at Hot Mama as it is a store for «mamas» and I’m no mama. However, I met my wife and daughter (2 years old) in the store and was impressed.
Mothers — have you been with your children while wanting to shop? You see something and would like to try it on, but you think — «errrr… maybe some other time — there’s not way that’s going to happen while I’m with my toddler.»?
This store has great looking clothes and it has toys, and snacks for kids. The snacks were animal crackers with little dixie cups to server them. There is a big round couch for the kids to sit. And, there’s a toy box — with toys that are all intact. There are building blocks, toy phones, cars — no small parts to choke on.
We found that the person who created this store is a mother. When she shopped with her kids, she would not enjoy the experience. She wanted to create a store that would be receptive to kids shopping with mothers. It worked. The staff at Hot Mama are receptive to bringing in kids, strollers. They help — the mama and the child.
My wife walked out with some new threads — and these hot mama clothes fit my hot mama wife well :)
