Fetch Academy & Dog Resort

Fetch is Sarah’s home away from home. She’s been attending since she was 15 weeks old and at almost 10 years old she gets excited every morning I say «We’re going to daycare!» She comes home exhausted and happy. Fetch contributed to her socialization as a puppy. She is our take-​anywhere do-​anything dog and that’s a direct result of the training & nurturing she received at Fetch. The staff is always friendly and loves my dog just as much as I do. The best in the city!

We used them for over Christmas (just now getting time to review). It worked out great. Not only did my two dogs share a room, but they got to play with other dogs. My dogs didn’t seem as stressed when we picked them up as when we pick them up from boarding with the vet. They even got a bath before we picked them up which was nice. The staff seemed really nice. We will plan to use them from now on for our dogs!

My husband and I recently adopted a new puppy. Because we work full-​time with a rather long commute to downtown Indianapolis each day, we knew that this would be a challenge for us. Keeping a puppy in a kennel all day by herself was not my idea of being a good parent to that puppy. A neighbor of ours recommended Fetch Academy. She takes her dog there and spoke quite highly of it. We decided to try it out and couldn’t be happier. The daycare is a full day for our Lexi of playing and interacting with both adults and other dogs. Some places offer «day care» but it doesn’t include all day interaction with the other dogs. You have to pay EXTRA for that. At Fetch, it’s all inclusive. The dog to staff ratio is perfect, allowing each dog that one-​on-​one attention, if they need it. Another positive feature to me is that each dog is taken out regularly for potty breaks. If they are newly potty-​trained (as our puppy was) then this certainly helps to keep them on track of «going outside.»
I highly recommend the Puppy Training for a few weeks. The trainer, Ray, really does a great job and the communication that he provides is very helpful. It’s a great way to get a puppy on track with socializing and interaction with others.
The Staff at Fetch is absolutely fantastic. It has a bit of that mom and pop feeling and indeed, it is not a franchise that I know of. The actual owner is there every morning to greet all the dogs as they arrive. The affection that all of the staff shows to each and every one of the dogs (even the grumpy ones) truly makes one feel good about leaving their pet there.
We’ve also boarded Lexi there and we are quite satisfied. Boarding includes the interactive daycare, so the price is right when considering that. One can leave their dog there, knowing that they are getting a lot of attention and not stuck in a cage the whole time. The weekend drop off/​pick up hours are EXTREMELY convenient, as well as the late pick-​up throughout the week.
I really can’t say enough good things about Fetch Academy. We feel very lucky to have found it! Not to mention what a well-​rounded, socialized happy dog we are getting as a bonus.

Kim and her staff go above and beyond in the care of my puppies and i would never trust anyone else when it comes to boarding or training.

I regret to let my dog staying in this day care. The staffs are liars and make up stories to cover their mistake. Also, they refused to babysit our dog just because of discrimination. In addition, the grooming service was horrible. After the grooming, inside my dog’s ears were very dirty. So I pointed it out to the manager and asked them to take care of it. Although the manager promised to take care of the problem, the dogs’ ears were so dirty. What a waste of money to pay for a horrible service. I will NEVER bring my dog back there as well as recommend this place to nobody else. Who knows what they did to our dogs after we walked out the door. My dog behaved differently (nervous, scared and sad) on the last day he was at the day care. Don’t bring your dog there if you truly love your dog. This business should be closed since they’re not trust worthy. Very disappointed.

We are new to Indy and found this place for doggie-​daycare: our Stella loves it here! My only wish would be to have a large outside area for her to run-​she loves to run, and there’s not much room inside for running. Staff is spectacular! Will highly recommend to anyone!

My boyfriend and I have a 4 month old Dachshund puppy and we’re in need of some doggy daycare. We live near Mooresville and commute to Bloomington (him) and Carmel (me). We’re very picky about who cares for our baby so during lunch today I stopped by to check this place out.
My first impression is extremely positive. The play areas are spotless. The dogs don’t have to run around on concrete — the floor has a nice rubber mat type of covering. There are plenty of crates so that when a visitor or new dog arrives, everyone can be safely put away. The dogs are separated into groups, by size and the rooms are large enough to accommodate the dogs. The owner, Ray, was kind enough to take some time to explain to me what they do and how they care for the dogs.
This is not just a place to drop off the dog and let them run wild while you work, they actually take the time to work with and train the dogs! They limit daycare to about 25 dogs or so in order to maintain a clean space and give dogs personalized treatment.
I realize pricing is a huge concern for many — it is for me. But when I asked them about their daily rate and how its nearly double some places you can find, Ray basically summed it up in saying that our pets will be treated well and not simply left to do whatever they please for the course of a day. I feel like I can really trust that Arnie will be in good hands and he’ll receive wonderful socialization and training from the employees.
I’ll report back after his first day but I have a feeling the price will certainly be worth it

I hate to leave my dogs at any kind of boarding facility. I just hate it. That is why I’m so glad I found Fetch. Kim and her staff totally understood my craziness and took the time to walk me through what a stay at Fetch would be like.
I was really impressed with the facilities and the plan they have for keeping the dogs occupied during their stay. I also really liked the sleeping areas they have because they are much more open than is typical and more than large enough so that my dogs can sleep in the same area.
As you might expect, I had some really explicit instructions about feeding (at the time, my guys were on different food and due to their sizes ate different amounts). No one at Fletch even batted an eye. They accommodated me and followed my feeding plan to the T.
While I was on my week long trip, Kim was very responsive to emails and made sure I got a daily update the first couple of days just so that I knew Otis and Kerouac were doing great. I really appreciated this personal touch.
I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather have my dogs stay than Fetch.
