We help families honor their loved ones and tell their unique stories. From full military honors to backyard receptions, tell us what is meaningful for you.

In this spirit we also host weddings, reunions, business retreats, and community events. We serve all races, creeds and income levels.

We operate our own crematory and have green burial options.

History

Established in 1881.

In May of 1881, Frank W. Flanner became Indiana’s first licensed embalmer and opened a mortuary in downtown Indianapolis. In 1887 Charles J. Buchanan joined his brother-in-law in the business, and the Flanner and Buchanan partnership was formed. The company was initially funded with money received from a Civil War pension.
