There was a time when I went to Huddle’s very often. Maybe I’m not as enthused with frozen yogurt as I once was, but on my most recent visit, I left wondering why I had frequented the place so much in the past. The froyo just wasn’t that good. I have to agree with Katie U.‘s review where she says its soupy and melty. It didn’t taste freshly made to me. I do like the toppings — I think they have one of the better selections when it comes to frozen yogurt places. Overall, the atmosphere is fun. I’m not personally a Colts fan so I don’t get into the decorations/NFL constantly being on the TVs, but its a step above the environment of most frozen yogurt places. I still wouldn’t totally rule Huddle’s out, but its not a place I would visit frequently by any means. I would much rather have a scoop of ice cream from Brics or Graeters and call it a day. I do have to admit, this is a fun place to stop when exercising on the Monon. Why not reward yourself for that long bike ride with some froyo?

I like Huddles(but don’t love it). They have a fairly good and unique selection of flavors. Their fro yo is a bit too sweet and a lot of flavors are pretty bland so the toppings overpower the froyo flavor. It melts quickly too. They have a pretty large selection of toppings that you serve yourself with. Huddles is tiny inside, so it is best to go in the summer when you can sit outside by the Monon. Make sure not to put too much froyo in your cup. It will increase the price(it’s by weight) and you won’t have room for toppings! This place brings in the kiddos and teens, and they can be unruly and annoyingly block the dispensers for the froyo that you serve yourself. Huddles is a good froyo place, but not my favorite. This is a good place in the summer because of its awesome Monon location!

Best frozen yogurt I have ever had. It’s nice and creamy like ice cream and they have great flavors and a great price. My toddler starts crying every time she realizes hers is almost gone

I love Huddles! When I need an afternoon pick me up, I nearly always choose Huddles. They have a bunch of different flavored to choose from, and tons of toppings to drizzle, drop, pour or sprinkle on top. I also love that you can take as little or as much as you need to fill your cravings. And it is always clean — unlike a few other yogurt /ice places I’ve been to. Definitely 5 star material.

Excellent toppings and excellent flavor choices! All around a solid place to get some fro-yo. Too bad I’m not from Indy, or I would go more often. Maybe that’s a good thing for my waistline…

Quality froyo for sure. I would be happier with more flavor options but the topping selection makes up for it. The staff(high schoolers) were friendly, the look is fun and the price is in line. It’s really near me so it’ll likely be my go-to but there was nothing in particular that stood out. However, I am interested to try(not personally) their dog-friendly treat

My sister took me here for the first time and it was so gooood! I highly recommend the pistachio froyo! The staff was very friendly and the store is really cute! I prefer it over Orange Leaf.

Really decent yogurt place! We were visiting family nearby and stopped in. I like the big outdoor seating area, plenty of tables and a large concrete ledge to sit on. I am giving 3 stars only because I have been to better yogurt places(several where I live) so I’m prob a more harsh critic! Prices are decent, and a good location.

What’s that, you say? Fro yo that tastes like root beer float or a Girl Scout thin mint cookie?! Ok. I’m interested. I visited here for the first time on a hot Sunday afternoon. I was greeted immediately upon walking in the door and headed over to have a couple samples. Huddles is one those yogurt shops where you pay by the weight of your cup. They offer plenty of toppings, from candy to nuts to fresh fruit. The inside is super clean. There is a nice patio on the side, overlooking the Monon trail and is dog friendly. There is even a dog bowl for water and dog treats available. Upon devouring my cup of mint chocolate yogurt, I immediately started to ponder my next chance to stop in and get more. It was that good.

Huddles has a lot of great things about it; Their yogurt is extremely soft and creamy, they have a large variety of toppings, some very unique flavors, their own merchandise, and they do a lot for their community. Their yogurt is the softest of all the yogurt places I have tried. I’m not really into toppings, but they have plenty of sugary ones for the kids as well as healthier fruit and nut options. They have pre-made extra flavors available as well as yogurt pie and sandwiches. Some of their flavors are a little bland, but some of them are very strong(in a good way!). They have all the typical flavors like dutch chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, but then they have awesome flavors like Cereal Magic which tastes just like Trix. Overall, Huddles is a pretty awesome place to go to if you’re in the Nora area.

Great location on the Monon in the Nora area. Pricing is fine. Very comparable to Orange Leaf but I think toppings are slightly better. Ex. Cheesecake bites. Good for an afternoon treat on a random Saturday afternoon in the spring.

Great frozen yogurt spot but I wasn’t loving the flavor options the last time I was there. I’m glad they switch them up often for some variety but they only two chocolate options and neither of them were all that appealing to me. Still love the By the Ounce concept and atmosphere!

Meh. That’s my response when I hear Huddles mentioned. The froyo is decent but can sometimes be a little soupy/melt too fast. They have a good selection of toppings and your typical«pay based on what it weighs» system. It’s a local, family-owned business which makes me like it a little more than Orange Leaf. Also, lots of TV screens to play sports games! My beef w/Huddles(and all these fro yo shops) is that seating is limited. If there are more than 10 people there, it can be a fight for a seat. Why not make it more spacious? I want to get my froyo and eat it there, most times. Apparently the Carmel location closed so this is the only Huddles left :/

This place is a lot of fun… definitely the best fro yo in Indy between variety of flavors/toppings, consistency, and taste.

Huddles is probably my favorite froyo place in Indy right now. Their fruity flavors are amazing: not too watery and not too sweet. All their flavors are very rich and creamy. Personally, I found the chocolate and vanilla flavors just too rich. It was almost like eating soft serve, which is not what I want when I’m craving froyo. Their cookies & cream flavor was also kind of weird; it had some sort of licorice or root beer taste to it. I was very disappointed in that. There were no sorbet flavors when I was there so if that’s what you like, Huddles may not be the place for you. They had a good amount of toppings and sauces. I’m not a big toppings person so I didn’t pay too much attention to them. The price is pretty similar to all the other places in Indy that I’ve been to so far. If Huddles was closer or had another location closer to me, I would go all the time.

Cute and clean inside, my husband decided to try this place out randomly one night. Tasty stuff, most of the flavors are definitely on the sweet side. Additionally, if you are someone who likes the fruit flavored froyos(not sorbet) there will be a more limited selection. A little lighter on the topping options on the opportunities I’ve had to visit, but it has still been fine. It was well stocked in general and clean. In terms of seating inside, it can be limited or full up, so I usually take mine to go if I stop here. To my knowledge this is the only location. The branding and design/colors inside are very cute. Added bonus if you have a doggie friend… they have froyo for your pup. So if that is something you’re seeking, heads up!

Stopped in again after buying their deal on living social. Do they have the most flavors in town? No. But it is owned by Jim Irsay’s daughter and they sell colts merchandise in the store at a discount. Plus, the tastings are a self serve so you don’t feel guilty trying all their flavors. If you come in during the winter, you’ll likely have the place to yourself. Show the local place some love and avoid the franchises this winter. These little guys need it to stay in business during the slow months!

Huddles stands slightly above all the other frozen yogurt places on the north side of Indy. Being located directly adjacent to the Monon Trail is also a bonus. Their Cable Car Chocolate and Cookies n Cream flavors are my favorites. Overall it’s another«fill your own cup /pay by the ounce» froyo place. The bonus is they are a local business and their froyo tastes a bit creamier than their competitors.

I can’t think off a better location for a froyo joint. Right on the Monon Trail so they get a lot of traffic from runners/cyclists. It’s also right on 86th street so they get a lot of motorists as well. As for the froyo itself, it’s pretty standard. There are so many froyo places now that they’re starting to all taste the same to me. This one dos have special dog-friendly froyo so that’s a huge plus.
