A decent little grocery. Décor is little bit dated, though. Lighting is a bit dim and floor tiles are kind of dingy. Prices seem on par with Kroger’s. Produce looks very fresh. Can’t say anything for the deli and butcher shop… Didn’t have time to investigate, but looked nice from afar. Could definitely use a few more cashiers though. U-scans would be nice too.

This is a story about how to turn an unhappy customer into a happy, repeat customer. I stopped in for roses on February 9. I intended to get my Valentine roses early as a a surprise. After a nice chat with the woman at the floral counter, I made my selection. She wrapped the flowers for me while I got some wine and a card, then she let me check out at her kiosk. Quite a good experience. As soon as I got home, I trimmed the roses and put them in a vase with their miracle grow packet of food. My wife was happy. 36 hours later most of the flowers were dead. Completely dead, not dying. I sent the message below to marsh: «I purchased a gourmet rose bouquet on Monday, 9-Feb-2015, at the Marsh located at 1440 East 86th Street Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. The customer service at the floral desk was amazing, and I received a beautiful arrangement. As soon as I got home I trimmed the stems, mixed the miracle grow type substance that comes with the flowers with water in a vase, and setup my surprise. My wife was shocked and happy to get flowers early before Valentine’s day-a true surprise. Sadly, 2 days later(11-Feb), half of the roses have died. The price I paid reflected the Valentine’s day markup, but the quality was far below what I have come to expect from Marsh. Its clear at this point that the roses will not make it to Valentine’s day. Do you offer a replacement guarantee? « Fast forward 24 hours-I received a call form the manager. They replaced my flowers and the new bouquet looks even more beautiful than the first(and is plenty alive after 2 days). Clearly I got a bad batch of flowers the first time around. Marsh has outstanding customer service and does what is right by the customer. They might not be the cheapest in every category, but you get what you pay for.
