Slowest fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to(including the stereotypical slow ones like Subway), and a hot spot for panhandlers, you unfortunately can’t beat the convenience given the lack of downtown fast food options. Keep in mind, never drive off without double checking your order, I’ve almost never had one 100% right the first time. Most employees are pleasant to downright friendly, but night shift brings out the worst. Straight up didn’t care at all about missing a sandwich AND my drink from my order, and also told me the store has never had mayonnaise, because I’m fairly certain she didn’t know what it was. That being said, if you can handle the rush at lunch and dinner times and you want something easy and cheap, it’s one of your only options downtown.

Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Wait times are 15 minutes or longer even at night when they’re not busy. They get orders wrong and said they gave me coke but actually gave me tea. I’ve never seen service so bad anywhere.

One of the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Disgusting conditions inside and out and some of the slowest service I’ve ever encountered both inside and at the Drive through. So slow and so lazy. McDonald’s corp should shut this franchise down.

I’ve been waiting 40 minutes on three McChickens. When I told them I wanted 2 buffalo sauce and 2 ranch they told me I had to pay extra… I turned my car off and let them know I’d wait to get a decent service time before I moved my car. This is the WORST!!! «Fast food» establishment I’ve ever been to. THE. WORST. And these idiots want $ 15/hr… Fucking joke.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I like McDonald’s in general but this one does nothing right. The drive through is typically a 15 minute wait. When you finally get your food, count on it being screwed up.

Filthiest McDonalds in the country I believe. I live downtown so have gone to this location by default for years and it is consistantly dirty, slow and rude!!! I now only go when I am desperate for a quick meal but I will only use the drive-thru. I get so repulsed by the dirty tables inside I lose my appetite so if I use the drive-thru I imagine they have improved inside. I would like to know where the Board of Health is? I would love to have a nice clean McDonalds to grab a sandwhich at and enjoy my meal.

Always right order every time. I wish they would put just a little more ice in the drinks at the drive thru, they always taste off since they aren’t cold enough. Can dine here 24⁄7. New double car drive thru sped up the line.

I give all McDonald’s a one star because none of them can make a latte. It never fails they always put whip cream and drizzle in my latte or they’ll give me a mocha instead of caramel latte. If they cannot do it right they shouldn’t even try. They’ve made two wrong so far and then they park me next to a trashcan full of swarming bees. This is why McDonald’s sucks!!!

Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever sat down in. No joke, not a clean table, trash on the floor, horrible service. Manager had no name tag, asked him to clean the tables and he looked at me funny. Who ever owns this location should be here look at this place. Would never return!

The drive through line here is almost always packed. I got to the window once and their system had frozen. Need to be more efficient!!! Otherwise it’s a regular McDonald’s

I’ve been through a crap ton of Mcdonalds in different states, and I have never been disappointed until I found this one. It was close to our lodging location, so we stopped by at a familiar place expectin familiar service. We ordered just 4 McFlurries. It’s only 10:30 in the evening and the staff couldn’t be any more incompetent. This lady, I understood as my cashier because she was just in training. There were these two other stupid ladies that didn’t process our order until we asked for it a second time, after 15 minutes have passed. Making ice cream isn’t difficult. Surprise-surprise, I know yall work at McDonald’s, but damn. Could you be any more stupid?

I’d recommend you sit at their drive thru window for about 12 minutes, sometime around midnight, honking your horn, trying to get someones attention inside. After waiting for 12 minutes you should then park the car, enter the building, and inform the first employee you see that their McDonald’s sucks. Wait for it, they’ll tell you to F&*$# off… or something along those lines. They must hear that a lot.

Obviously don’t come here if you’re looking for fine cuisine. It’s fast food. The staff has always been friendly to me,(my boyfriend and I come here occasionally to meet people from craigslist to trade phones or to fix electronics). They have great energy and are usually really friendly even though this location is busy. They make mistakes sometimes but they fix it without any attitude. I’ve never heard them forget to say have a nice day or enjoy or something like that when they pass the food over. The food is just the same as any McDonald’s, but I think the service seems to be better so I’m surprised the reviews are so terrible!

Average transaction time, 20min. No matter the time of day. If it’s busy it’s about 90min.

AVOIDATALLHUMANLYCOSTS. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, or to any single convicted rapist this side of the Mason Dixon Line. I’ve eaten here(not by choice) a good 6 times and every single time, I have the strongest motivation to stab newborn children, solely due to their incompetent staff and complete lack of time management. The manager of this establishment should be tarred, feathered, and forced to sit in their own drive thru for eternity.

Somewhere inside this McDonald’s is a trophy case filled with ‘the worst of’ awards. Having lived downtown since 2006 I have had the misfortune of dining here out of emergency. Literally, I only go here if it is the absolute last resort. Today was one of those ‘emergencies’. I had no groceries and I was about to pass out. I just needed a snack! Just a few fries shoveled in my mouth and then I could function again. Of course, in true 16th street McD’s fashion they failed at the mere task of fries. My fries were a wet soggy mess. Asking for ketchup was like asking the drive-through attendant for a piece of the moon. Of course she shoved 6 packets of ketchup for my small fries, not in the bag, but into my already full hands! I know few people probably read Unilocal!reviews about McDonald’s, because well it’s only a few dollars you lose. But really if you think about it(and especially here at this joint) you PAYWITHYOURTIME! People will sit in the drive-thru for over 30 minutes! I see the line almost daily and it wraps around the building at odd hours like 3pm. Those people aren’t there for lunch… they are there for the simple ice cream or soda fix. Pulling a lever isn’t hard is it!!! Also you shouldn’t have to read Unilocal!reviews about McDonald’s because as a franchise aren’t they held to high corporate service standards? Don’t people call in to corporate and complain about this place? My general thought about a franchise is that you should expect the same quality and service no matter where you visit INTHEWORLD. Why? Why does the world’s worst McDonald’s have to be in my neighborhood where I live in Indianapolis? My experiences here over the years have never resulted in a positive one. Even if I go inside to avoid the line from hell in the drive-thru the experience is the same. The order is rarely correct. Order orange juice? They will give you water. Give them $ 10 for a $ 6 order and they will give you a $ 1 in change back. I’ve even had the person taking my order be condescending toward me. About 80% of the time the employees barely look at you. They are multi-tasking their work with socializing. I mean literally turning over their shoulder away from you to yell at someone else about something non-work related! Once a friend picking me up for a 4am airport drop-off made the mistake of going through the drive-thru for hot chocolate. He was in line for 30 minutes. So even the time of day doesn’t better the service situation. Us locals avoid it like the plague. I’m positive the length of the line from hell scares business off too. So how does this place stay in business? Also, my rating is totally generous. If I could, I would give this place zero stars for ‘I wish it didn’t exist’.

Slow and poor service. Though most are polite. Here are some of the examples of service. Drive through 32 ounce drink out of lids they complained I refused the drink. Back when you had to sign the receipts for credit cards typically didn’t have a pen for their customers. It took them years to take credit cards. It was only in the last few years they took credit cards. My last visit, the teen behind the counter staring like a deer in the head lights I stood there for over a minute and asked if she was available to take orders and she was but yet wouldn’t even greet me. Over the years this is the kind of service I’ve come to expect. There was one time though where there was a manager who you could tell cared. Wasn’t weeks I came back and he was gone. Also, the workers not working typically congregate on a table to the side of the counter or hang out and socialize before they decide to help customers. However, I assume relative to the attitudes they likely don’t get paid all that much. Feel sorry for them really. They have one of those faith and blessed signs with a number one can call with service issues. I called and one has to leave a message. Never a return call. This would be a great location for the first Midwest In N Out Burger.

This place might as well almost shutdown. It sucks, because it is the most convenient one in the area. Everytime you go to this place, you have to wait and idle FOREVER before you even get something as simple as a drink or a McDouble(which yesterday they got both of my friend’s mcdoubles completely messed up). It doesn’t even matter how busy the place is. Most of the workers are incredibly slow. However, today was a particularly interesting day. I went in to get a drink for my friend and me. I’m obviously sick and not feeling well, my eyes are watering, nose is running, I’m walking slow and my eyes are barely open. Therefore, I’m not going to spend my time fixing my hair when I’m just trying to run into get a drink. Who the fk needs to have his afro perfect to go to a place such as McDonald’s? But some complete jackass as soon as I walked in started laughing and making fun of my hair with some of the employees in the back corner and was even taking a picture of me. I’ve never in my life was so pissed off. All of these grown people in their 20s acting like children. But then it was a wasted effort when they didn’t take cards. WHAT!!! It’s 1:30 p.m. on a Saturday. How ridiculous. Someone immediately needs to get in there and revamp this staff immediately, get them excited, show them the importance or something. Coming from years working in fast food in high school and college, I understand it is a terrible job and you hope one day for something better. But the fact is that you all chose that job, you need that job, so you better start making your customers a priority. As of today, I’m officially done with this place.

Hadnt been to this location in a hot minute, and needed a little something for brekkie. I rolled through the drive through, ordered my free coffee and a parfait.(On a diet). I wait and get to the window, and they young lady informs me I have to park, they forgot to make them. Well it is 14 minutes to I start work, and there are 4 cars in front of me also waiting.(I wonder if for parfaits?) I just take off. It just was not worth the dollar. This store has an obvious problem with their leadership, they advertise 9.00 an hour and still cant seem to get staff. Last time I was in there the manager was so crappy to her employees it made me cringe, I am guessing that is the rule rather than the exceptions. Perhaps Mc D’s needs to review this franchise holder thoroughly.
