History
Established in 1950.
As early as the 1900’s, the entrepreneurial spirit thrived in the Meyer family. Starting in coal, then building supplies and limestone, the family ran company eventually evolved in the plastics distributors that it is today.
In the early 60’s the Meyer family discovered reinforced plastics and used cutting edge technology to teach local companies how to use the material. Throughout the 60’s and 70’s the company grew into a full line plastics distributor and sheet fabricator. Today Meyer Plastics, Inc. provides plastic manufacturing solutions for engineering, custom fabrication, tooling, and thermoforming, adhesives, prototyping, and sign and graphic materials.

Ralph M.
Business Owner
In 1982 Ralph joined his father John in the company. His first assignment was inside sales. Ralph was a graduate from Southern Methodist University with a post graduate degree from Indiana University. Through the next several years Ralph experienced all of the various areas within Meyer Plastics, Inc. and was able to add his engineering and manufacturing knowledge to the company. Ralph became President in 1995 and is now CEO of Meyer Plastics, Inc.
