Nancy Lee Designs, bringing dreams to life in metal. Gallery walls show 2d works of local artists. Nancy Lee’s work includes studio jewelry, small sculpture, custom designed work, and alternative, non-​traditional wedding, commitment and engagement rings. Artist/​owner Lee uses recycled and responsibly sourced materials. Fourteen years experience. HOURS: Wednesdays 5−9PM, Saturdays 12 – 4 PM and on the first Friday of each month for the IDADA First Friday Art Tour. Located in the Circle City Industrial Complex, home of many talented local artists and galleries. Free, off-​street parking.

Established in 1992.

Began business as a part-​time venture in 1992. In 1998 the part-​time business became full-​time.

Meet the Business Owner

Nancy L.

Business Owner

Designer and award winning metalsmith working in copper, silver, brass and gold to make art jewelry and objects. She fell in love with the plastic qualities of metal during a jewelry making class. Thirteen years later, her work is recognized for its narrative qualities, minimalist style, body-​conscious architecture and attention to detail. Work sometimes includes semi-​precious gemstones and found objects. Techniques include forging, fold-​forming, soldering, riveting, etching, heat-​treatments, and various coloring treatments to bring warmth and color to the metal. As in all of her work, the ultimate result displays simplicity and harmony of design while allowing the viewer to insert their own authentic meaning.
