Full service veterinary care for all ages of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. We offer annual exams, bloodwork, vaccinations, x-​ray, laser surgery, dental cleanings and care, etc. We have a stocked in house pharmacy as well as an online pharmacy. We also have a pet stylist here and we now have a self-​serve pet wash. Please call us to help you with any of your veterinary needs!

History

Established in 1984.

Back in 1984 Dr. Lee Walker and Dr. Erik Tysklind established from their House Call practice the first Paw Patch Veterinary Hospital at 16^th & Arlington. Based on superior client service it grew to 3 clinics in just 4 years. Since then, the Georgetown location moved to 56^th and Lafayette Road; 16^th & Arlington Avenue clinic closed and was reborn at Stop 11 and Emerson; and in February 2009, the College Avenue location was sold and in December 2011, the Stop 11 and Emerson location was sold.

Throughout these years our doctors and staff have remained unchanged in their dedication towards you and your pet’s care.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Tysklind graduated from Purdue University in 1982. He has special interests in orthopaedic surgery and more in-​depth dental care. He has received special surgical training in the repair of ACL’s and complex fracture repair as well as more intensive training in dentistry for complicated extractions, endodontics and some involved periodontic work.

He resides on the west side of Indianapolis with his wife, Beth, two dogs, Fozzie and Otto, and one cat, Zepplin. He has two college aged sons, Gunnar and Christian.
