Description

Specialties

Pipers Restaurant is home to Indy’s most talented & innovative culinary team. With over 80 years of combined experience, the chefs at Pipers are continually stretching their food muscles with special menus, wine dinners and more. The team @ Pipers is also looking ahead to new trends in the food industry. Their new bar and lounge area will add even more to the atmosphere alongside a special «shareable» small plate and appetizer menu.

The permanent menu includes a diverse selection of unique dishes like Roasted Honey-Pecan Chicken, Stuffed Flounder, Chicken Lydia, Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes, Specialty Salads and an impressive dessert list, all made in-house from scratch. Be sure to keep up with which special menu Pipers is currently featuring (like Summer by the Sea, a 3 page list of unique seafood dishes, or Around the World, a feature of several ethnically-inspired plates from every corner of the globe) by visiting www.pipersindy.com.

History

Established in 1988.

Pipers began on the Southside of Indianapolis in Greenwood at the corner of Co. Line Road and SR135. At first, they were small-time catering company and café open for lunch serving Pot Pies, Meatloaf, New England Chicken and a few creative dishes with the freshest ingredients, making their mark.

Relocating in 2007 and now serving dinner, Pipers began to push the envelope. Now, with several special seasonal menus and special events, Pipers has expanded to open 3 beautiful venues across Indianapolis.

Famous for award-winning recipes and a neighborhood feel (the whole family is there any given day), Pipers is renovating to add a lounge to their restaurant.
