History
Established in 1991.
Port-to-Port was founded to bring the power of technology to smaller organizations in central Indiana. So often, the people who provide technical support to these organizations are technically competent but they don’t understand that the technology is supposed to make the business run better. It isn’t enough for the computers to work. They have to make the real work easier. We take the time to understand our customers’ business goals and strive to help them achieve those goals thru the intelligent application of technology.
Meet the Business Owner
Damon R.
Business Owner
Damon has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an MBA from Indiana University.
He served 5 years in the US Air Force after college. While there, he worked on the team that designed satellite communications systems for the Strategic Defense Initiative.
Damon co-founded Port-to-Port in 1991. Since then, his skills in data communications and Information Technology have been put to work for more than 300 organizations throughout Indiana. Damon’s chief responsibilities are marketing, business development and system analysis.
Damon is an advocate of the power of education. He demonstrates that in his community service efforts. He is a board member of the Techpoint Foundation, Net Literacy, and the Indiana Post Adoption Network. He has served on the boards of directors of many youth focused organizations.
Damon is a casual golfer and biker, and a fair weather runner. Damon and Susie, his wife of 26 years, have three children.
