Recycle Force is a newer(been around two years) recycling center that is reusing the old, old Thomsen plant off of Sherman and 9th as their base for collection. They first made a name for themselves recycling electronics. Everything from TV’s and computers, to cell phones, VCR’s, hair dryers, power cords, and even copiers and huge electronic equipment. You name it, they can probably recycle it. They also can recycle all household recycling from cardboard, to plastics 1 – 7, to cans, bottles and even Styrofoam(clean, non-raw-food-ish). All the great things above stated is not the even best part about this organization. Recycle Force employs formerly incarcerated individuals who would have trouble getting work(and back to a gainful life) otherwise. They purposely give them not only a job, but social services and character development to gain skills to be a asset to society. Yes, they recycle our workforce! Brilliant!!! If you own a business, they also do pick ups with some brand new trucks they just acquired. I recycle ALL of my household good with Recycle Force, and, if you care about our society as well as the environment, you should too.
