The Gate A location… literally the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever seen… literally. It took longer to get coffee from that Starbucks at 5:30AM than it did to get through TSA. Did you get that? It took longer for their«baristas» to make espresso than it did for the federal government to make sure I wasn’t bringing a bomb on the plane.

The cashier was in no hurry and chided customers«don’t come to Starbucks if you don’t have patience». I would have left if I hadn’t already waited over 10 minutes just for a regular coffee.

While our drinks were good and the lady takin the our order was very good and polite and pleasant, there was a lack of energy in the rest of staff. With this lack of energy came low efficiency and our drinks took forever. One of the employees was called off the line by the manager but no one bothered to fill her spot and finish our drinks. Could definitely use some improvement.

Early morning at the airport. Ordered a breve white chocolate mocha. The cashier didn’t know what it was. The cashier was complaining that she was tired and if someone could complete a void for her. I repeated my order three times. Finally the person making the drinks gets my order. The cashier still hasn’t rang me up. She doesn’t know how to ring up the order. I repeat my order to her again and the person making the drinks says«I heard you the last time». I pay for my drink and move over to the other side to wait. Now the person making the drink is arguing with another employee. He walks away and is telling the manager about this argument. The worst customer service ever at a Starbucks!!! I asked for a refund! They should put the customers first. Keep employee conversation to a minimum. The manager should have had them take care of customers and then settled their disagreement.

Suppose to be open at 4:30am. Was still not open at 5:00am. Considering this is the only Starbucks past Terminal A security that really stinks. Starbucks Terminal A you need to get your act together.

It’s 4:35am and their hours say 4:30 am opening time. The employees were very rude to people asking why they were not open at 4:35am when clearly it says 4:30. They said they were running behind and they would open in 15 minutes. Time is everything when traveling, and most certainly when taking a 5:30am flight. It is very inconvenient to have them not open on time. For being an airport location, this absolutely sucks. It is beyond disappointing that Starbucks cannot ensure quality at its locations. Anytime I fly through this airport I will avoid Starbucks like the plague.

About the worst Starbucks ever. Three employees and they all seem to be doing things that do not include taking orders and making coffee. We were second in line and it took five minutes to take our order. Oh wait, we left. Went to chick fil a and had our order taken immediately.

Fast service if no line. If more than 3 in line plan a 15 min wait. Not staff fault just lots of spring break fraps. Nice staff once ordered too 3 mins w hot sandwich. Gold card worked fine on phone

It’s an airport location! The staff seems to not really care about what they’re doing. I went to use my Gold Card and they informed me their system was down and they could not accept my card. BUT they could accept my debit card. Though I get that they cannot help technical issues… they could have been a little more apologetic about it. Clearly there is a reason why I wanted to pay with my starbucks card. My drink did come out correctly and it came out fast. But seeing that no one was in front of me I would hope it would come out quickly. Their floor space is lacking and I had to maneuver around several employees restocking tables just to get to the counter.

It’s so nice that Starbucks makes alternative employment opportunities for people incapable of even the most basic customer service functions. While I do kind of wish they weren’t so close to the gates so I wouldn’t think«I’ll just grab a quick coffee before my flight,» because they don’t actually sell coffee here. They sell apathy and an ignorance of basic math skills. They give the coffee away for free.

I know airport Starbucks locations will generally be a step down from standalone locations, but I really don’t care for this one in particular. Located at the base of A concourse at the IND airport, it is in a very convenient location for anyone flying Delta or United and as such generally has very long lines. Not their fault directly, but they tend to be very slow, which exacerbates the problem. In addition, I find that they are often out of things, especially on the food side. They often also get my order wrong or leave items out entirely. The staff is also not up to Starbucks standards. They are not friendly and generally don’t engage the customers well at all. Recently, when I stopped in here, their scanner for the mobile app Starbucks card wasn’t working. The lady seemed very put out that I was using one and demanded I read the numbers to her. She then cut me off mid-sentence because I was«reading too fast.» I like Starbucks far better, but at this point, I think I’ll go to Copper Moon when I need coffee at the airport.

Horrible service. I waited a good 3 minutes to have my order taken while the ‘Mary Jane’ talked on the phone. Of the other 4 employees all of around aimlessly nobody could help me and I wasn’t even acknowledged by any. Mary Jane, the woman who was on the phone, was using her service gloves to talk on the phone and use the computer/take cash. Not only did she touch food with these same gloves she couldn’t understand why I would ask her to change her gloves to get me a new bagel. She argued that she had used something else to touch the bagel. If you think it’s acceptable to talk on the phone and touch cash why would I trust your judgement on anything at this point. Disgusting.

Terribly slow service is consistent in the mornings here. The line is always long in the morning and the staff have no urgency.

Had to explain how to make a iced coffee with cream and sweetener along with a shot. Not sure if the IQ level of the cashier was to blame or just her inability to comprehend an easy order that one would get on a daily basis while working at a Starbucks.

Disorganized, bored, and slow staff. They started by assuming I would pay with credit, then had to void the purchase and redo the transaction for cash. The breakfast wrap I ordered was slopped together and a little burnt around the edges. The cashier was coughing and handling food/money while appearing to be sick. I’m gonna be PISSED if I get ill on vacation because of her.

This Starbucks is in a great location – right by the Southwest Airlines gates. The service is fast and usually friendly. They are often well stocked on baked goods and snacks.

Love it; fast, convenient and friendly service. What’s not to like. The coffee is great, it’s Starbucks right… the staff was very attentive and look like they were having fun. I’ll be back!

The Good: Their service was fast. The Bad: The staff was rude, ignored me for a few minutes as I stood there waiting to order. One of the very fews times that I didn’t have a good/welcoming customer service experience at a Starbucks. Tip: They do take your Starbucks card here.

Staff is friendly and fast, and I heard a great deal about a Russian lady’s soy allergy and the ramifications of soy consumption on her body!
