TGI Fridays

If you aren’t a rewards member, go sign up for it right now. They treat rewards members really well (as a company). Free chips and salsa on every visit, just for being a rewards member. That’s awesome! We happened to visit on a Sunday afternoon and sat in the bar area. That qualified us for $ 5 apps (instead of $ 8.90+). I had some really good pot stickers and my fella had the sriracha boneless wings (also $ 5). I have a ton of points, so I used that to get $ 8 off the food portion of our bill, which left me with a whopping $ 11 charge (plus tip). I think this place gets overlooked since it’s a chain, but I definitely like having it in the mix. The food is great!

The bartenders were fun and outgoing. And the manager was such a hard worker. Helped running food and bussing tables, and personally apologized when my friends salad came out wrong. Great staff !!

Looks great, was empty and waited 10mins for service. Good decorations but that doesn’t cut it, putting cool retro stuff on the wall inst going to change my mind about this place. WHAT A FIXER UPPER!

A big shout out to TGIFriday’s for being the only restaurant to offer my husband a large print menu. An even louder shout out to our server Britney for noticing the need & going to get it.
The three of us enjoyed the pecan crusted chicken salad and a rack of ribs! Yum!

If you love to wait 50 minutes for your food and spend $ 15 on a hamburger this is your place. And don’t spill a drink on your table. The wait staff won’t be back to help you clean it. The hostesses have to.

This was my first time at this Friday’s. I wasn’t a huge fan of the interior. We stopped in solely for Tennessee Whiskey Cake and because it was right there. My sister and I had been at Charming Charlies so it only seemed right that after doing a little bit of accessory shopping, we should eat cake. RIGHT Unilocal!!! :)
Well we did.
Nothing fancy to review. The interior was odd to me. There was this detention room-​looking row of booths that ran down the middle of the aisle and across from the row of booths we sat it. I guess I“m not used to seeing booths without some type of backing or wall or divider or something nearby. Those were just there. And on each side of them were other tables and booths. It was just a weird look and I should have taken a picture. It looked like those people were the bad tippers so they put them in a bad seating area. I could be wrong.
Our waitress wasn’t to be raved over. She brought us our order and our bill. That was it. She didn’t check to see if we needed anything else during our stint offshore of the detention hall, but hey, we came for one thing, got it, enjoyed and left.
I’m never in Greenwood. That was my first time since the 90s. I wasn’t impressed or underwhelmed. I just did what I came to do and left. The end.

Well, I think I might have got food poisoned after eating here. I ordered a flank steak and half rack of ribs, and I asked the steak to be cooked medium well. The food tasted fine, but I woke up at 3am and had an upset stomach. During the day, I had a low fever. I would think these are the symptoms of bacteria infection. I am still feeling sick today, anyway, I actually liked the service and the food, but this scared the shit out of me.

If you are looking to go out for dinner and not spend a crazy amount of Mula then TGI is for you!!! I love their spinach dip! I don’t know that anyone could top them. And I have had a lot of artichoke dip in my life! So try that as an appetizer! The great thing about TGI is that they are always coming up with some kind of deal. Endless apps, $ 5 apps, half of prices. Which keeps people coming back. Ate last it has kept me! So go! I prefer it over Applebee’s and chilis.

Stopped in for lunch with the girlies. We all got the endless appetizers. I didn’t know that you only get 1 at a time. Service started out SUPER slow. I received my chicken tostada and had it eaten before the server even came back to ask me what I wanted next. My entire party was out of drinks. It was another 10 – 15 minutes before we got our next round of appetizers. Service got better at the end.
The food was pretty good. The BBQ chicken flatbread was surprisingly good, and the chicken tostadas were not. There was some sauce on them that reminded me of the taste of hotdogs… weird.
Overall it was okay.

Why does the food have to be so good & such terrible service ! When I first walked in, the host completely ignored me talking to her. Then we sit down & our server takes my fiancés order and I wasn’t ready yet. He gets his food and then she completely forgot about me. Walked passed me like 6 times. My food came out a half our later than his. Also I order chicken & cheese and asked for the cheese on my mash potatoes and she looks at me like I’m stupid & then is rude about it. TERRIBLE SERVER. Her name was Ashley.

This was a late night option after work. We were seated right away after arriving around 10pm. I wanted a cheeseburger but not fast food. I’ve been a big fan of the Jack Daniels menu options for awhile. We also had a $ 5 coupon from the Discover Indy book. So our 2 Jack Daniels entrees with water (I gave up soda months ago) came to $ 20 before tip. Not a bad price for a sit down place. Quality & service were fine, no issues. Satisfying meal & relaxing after the long workday.

Had to wait on Friday night, of course, but my party of 4 only had wait maybe 10 mins. Heaven was my waitress, so I wasnt too worried. Only complaint was the policy concerning the unlimited apps for $ 10. As I saw it, spend that amount and get it refilled… easy enough. Last visit 3 of got one to share with no issues but on this visit with 4 of us attempting to do the same thing we were informed that we could not do that promo. According to the menu, buy one app at $ 10 each (per person) and get free refills on same app. The way that reads is you spend $ 40 and share one app where the promo really is spend $ 10 get one. Idk about fine print, I coukd care less… just dont care fir inconsistencies. But everything else was very good

Hadn’t been here for at least 6months the prices were outrageous for the food you get. It’s worse every time we go. It will be a another long long time before I return :/

So disappointed. Our servicer, Zoey, was great but the cook not so much. I ordered a cheeseburger well done, when i came out it looked pretty but when i cut into it was raw… So i left disappointed and hungry. This was in the mall location.

I am so bummed. They revamped their menu, and my favorite appetizer was taken off the menu. It was the spicy cheese dip that was usually with the pick 2 deal they have. Our waiter was great and food was hot and fresh, but I am not a fan of the new menu. A lot if the old favorites were taken off too. This used to be one of my favorite places to go when we would eat out, but now I think I will have to find somewhere else

It’s a typical TGIFriday’s. Food was okay. Bar is oddly situated.
