Overpriced products. Terrible staff. Horrible work environment. What I would do is the following: Go in with your smartphone Use the store as a showcase Buy similar products online at way less of a cost. DONOTWALKBYTHEIRCUSTOMCLOSETS. THEYWILLPITCHANDPITCH.

As a self-proclaimed neat freak, I love anything organization related. This store has everything a organization-obsessed individual could possibly ask for. From shelving to storage boxes to Elfa solutions, this place has everything you need to put your life in order. Also, the sales associates are so incredibly lovely and welcoming. Check this location out, it’s most definitely worth the trip.

Not a bad place to browse, but the prices could be a little ridiculous. Take my tip and see The Container Store like I do as an Amazon showroom(albeit a limited one) or just a place to get ideas and inspiration for your home organizing. The store is always crowded and the people(employee or customer) never seem to be the friendliest. Last time we were there, we literally ran out because of the stuffy atmosphere and rude vibes. Not good!

Oh dear lord. What is NOT to love about the container store. Reminds me of that old George Carlin routine about«stuff.» «That’s the whole meaning of life, isn’t it? Just finding a place for your stuff.» «Your house is just a pile of stuff with a big cover on it.» haha. I just want my stuff organized, and color coded. Who wants your space looking like some insane ferret hut? Not this gal. Course, I do wish it was just a smidge less expensive – I’m a woman, I was raised to bargain hunt. Love it though. Great for finding fun little unique gifts that someone might not think of for themselves, but would undoubtedly find useful. Grateful they had candy scoops, a wide variety of trash can colors, and very designer-minded door stops. All kinds of stuff you didn’t even know you and your home needed, it’s here.

I dunno: I’m a sucker for the Container Store. Sure it’s expensive, and yes you’re buying more stuff to organize the stuff you already have. But it’s comforting to walk down aisles of glass jars and wicker baskets, all shiny and new and just waiting to be purchased and used as vessels for your junk. If I had a lot of money, I’d try out all of the laundry products the Container Store has for sale. They sell laundry detergent here that I’ve never even heard of before, in pretty glass jars labeled with French words. They make my family-size jugs of Tide look downright pedestrian.(By the way: They don’t sell Tide here. Please. Are you kidding me? Where do you think you are: Costco?) One thing that surprised me was the variety of moving and packing supplies this location carries. These are located all the way in the farthest back corner. Everything from packing tape to bubble wrap to boxes of many sizes. Also, no less than four associates greeted me as I walked around the store. It’s very nice and welcoming here.

My wife and I like this store and is a must stop when we visit Indy. Some of the stuff is a tad overpriced but they have quite the selection.(the Elfa stuff is way too expensive) I’ve never had a problem with their location or parking, but I’ve always come during the week and not the weekend. I enjoy going down every aisle and seeing what they have. It’s much better than Bed Bath and Beyond, which is all we have in our town.

We will not be coming back to this store. We designed a master bedroom closet over the phone/online with one of their«designers» and then came to the store to pick it up. Employees were not very polite and then after waiting around in the store for more than an hour were told that the materials for the closet were not going to be available until the next day, after we already drove all the way to the store to pick it up! Most things in this store look to be overpriced and fairly low quality. Save some money and go to Ikea instead. Glad we didn’t end up buying anything here. Not a pleasant shopping experience at all. Parking is bad here also.

Whether you’re a neat freak, attempting to get organized, or just hide all of your excess crap, the Container Store offers a variety of options. Hey, this is the closest thing that Indy can get to an Ikea. This clean and well organized store offers not only products to meet all of your storage needs, but needs that you didn’t even know that you had. From hangers, travel cubes, laundry goods, luggage, office and kitchen containers, to make your own closet, and more. The prices are on the higher side; however, if you time it right, the sales can be pretty good. One of the major downsides to this store is its location. Depending on the day and time, parking and just getting to the store can be a pain thanks to Castleton/Keystone traffic.

The concept: organize your abundance of crap by purchasing more crap. Okay, I know I’m being cynical but you have to laugh at some of the«organizational» products The Container Store sells… Why, yes, this is a box to store your extra buttons that you’ll never use again and it goes on top of the mini box of trinket organizers. Some of the prices seemed over the top given the Ikea feel of the product. My visit ended with no purchases but I will admit that I walked away with a new idea to make extra-storage in my wee kitchen.

I was not impressed with this store. It was busy and crowded, but I really couldn’t figure out why. We felt like products were crazy expensive, considering the low quality. Imagine ikea products with a pottery barn price tag. Most of the furniture appeared to be cheap fake wood material. We laughed at how ridiculous the prices are for this store. Spend your money elsewhere!
