I walked in and out of curiosity. Empty bins empty shelves, not much going on inside. Rush Limbaugh was on the radio and that’s enough for me to just walk away. Save yourself from buying anything long past its prime, and drive West 5 miles to Broad Ripple where there is a real health food store with fresh items and a much friendlier staff. This guy hasn’t got a clue how to attract customers. I mean, Limbaugh on the radio isn’t toxic enough to 80% of HEALTHFOOD customers? Throw in expired items on the shelves and empty bins of bulk food with nothing but crumbs at the bottom? If it’s empty, at least clean the things out! It just made me feel like I couldn’t trust what I was buying. Good luck, but you’ll have to eek out a living without my help.

I went in here because I was at the Dollar Tree next door and I needed a specialty item that would likely only be sold at a health food store. The place was really eerie. There were lots of bins where you could scoop out different kinds of grains or nuts, but most of them were completely empty. The shelves were also nearly empty. The few items the store did carry looked old and were covered in dust. I was the only person in the store except for one employee who was on the phone the whole time. A review from 2010 says that’s how the store was back then. Four years later and nothing has changed. How is this place still in business?

The store now just carries vitamins, supplements, and health aids, much like GNC, but not as slick. He has some other consumables, like protein powder, protein bars, organic oils, and misc stuff. But no grocery type foods as before. I’ve always found the owner to be friendly and knowledgable. I think it’s worth a visit if you’re looking for a vitamin shop and want to talk to someone who actually is knowledgable about vitamins, supplements and nutraceuticals. Years ago, he may have been trying to be like Good Earth in Broad Ripple, but now he’s specializing in what he really knows.

I went there for the first and last time today. The place was dirty with cob webs, old meat in a refrigerated case, some type of liquid was dripping, there was broken class on a mirror and we found some cereal that expired in 2006. My husband was wondering if we were in a time warp. Also, the clerk was on the phone the whole time were were there and we were the only customers. Weird thing is, I saw another review on a different website from 1 yr ago and the reviewer pretty much had the same experience as I did. She even said the guy is on the phone every time she goes in there. The experience was very bizarre.
