Signature Party Rentals

I recently had my wedding in Palm Springs at an estate and I highly recommend Signature Party Rentals. I first worked with Trish who is no longer with the company but she was great! I was then taken are of by Kathy. Kathy was extremely professional and informative. The crew cam on time and set up everything perfectly. Everything was labeled and organized. They were efficient and we couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Kathy and Scott for making my wedding less stressful!

My husband and I recently got married at a private residence in the Palm Desert area. We had to rent every chair, table, napkin, fork, cup, etc. I worked directly with Kathy Taylor. She is simply the best! She answered all of my questions (I asked MANY), she met me at my venue and provided wonderful feedback and suggestions, and remained patient as I changed the wedding layout about 14x! Kathy was easily accessible and responded quickly which was quite helpful to this bride. My favorite rentals were the farm tables and wine barrel. If you need a rental company, rent with signature and work with Kathy!

I love these guys! They provided excellent service at a reasonable price for our wedding. We rented chivari chairs, sofas and coffee tables from them and everything arrived on time and ready to go. Not only that but their delivery and pick up fee was really reasonable too. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Update: KP’s manager credited us back for the legs and other items that we didn’t get, and I appreciate them saying that the fire permit issue was not an intentional «scam» on their part. However, we do have records of our calls (dates/​times) and her emails, so sadly while I believe she is a nice person I do still have a hard time not calling them out on the fire permit issue… even the fire guy was laughing when we told him how right after she spoke to him verifying ZERO cost, she emailed us later saying «the fire permit might be even PRICIER than the $ 500»… seriously? Sorry, but you are so busted and STILL busted!!! On top of this, KP then contacted my wedding site coordinator and had some serious balls saying «I don’t want to point any fingers» and tried to blame me the bride for their mistakes (showing up early, despite a couple verbal corrections on date/​time/​setup etc). Of course my coordinator passed it on to me, so I had to call her manager AGAIN and comment that this wasn’t exactly helping and wasn’t very professional. So, again, I do thank them for giving me credit back but it was sad I had to initiate that rather than the toher way around, and I stand by the fire permit/​weird email comments.

Outstanding, Professional and willing to go the extra mile. They have great quality of product and service. I own a catering and special event company and would recommend them very highly and do to all of my clients.

We recently got married at an estate where we needed to bring in every chair and fork and signature party rentals did an excellent job!
We worked with Trish who was available for questions on site, and walked through everything with me. I felt very comfortable and loved the end result!
The lighting they strung up throughout the property was beautiful and exceeded my expectations — it created the atmosphere I was dreaming of :)
Would highly recommend them as they were professional, helpful, and everything was set up and broken down perfectly.

NOT TO BE TRUSTED. They will not stand by their quotes. Use Classic instead!
UPDATE 3÷13÷15: While I appreciate Trish’s attempt (below) to explain away Warren’s unprofessional behavior, I’m sorry to say that every word of my original review is true. Believe me, I wish it weren’t. I can’t speak for Trish’s three-​month-​old memories from apparently sitting next to Warren, but I have contemporaneous notes that I took during the conversation, including direct, word-​for-​word quotes (because I couldn’t believe what I was hearing!). I stand by this review completely.

My wife and I secured a quote in October for heaters from Signature for our Palm Springs wedding in January. The quote explicitly included that Signature would drop the heaters off Friday during the day and pick them back up after the weekend, which was what we needed, as we were planning on using the heaters briefly for our short rehearsal dinner on Friday night and briefly for part of our wedding night Saturday.
In December, we got in touch with Warren Taylor at Signature and asked him if he could still honor the original quote, even a couple of months after he had originally offered it. He said (in writing) that he would be happy to honor the original quote, with the same dropoff and pickup times, no problem.
The problem started when I called Warren to firm it up and make payment. When I reminded him in passing that we were planning to use the heaters briefly twice instead of at length once (they turn on and off easily, as Warren himself had told me), he feigned total ignorance and suddenly threatened to upcharge me for the rental by 50%, even though he had promised to honor the original quote (which was all we had budgeted for) and even though there was *literally* no change whatsoever in what we ordered (in terms of heaters, propane amount, everything) or when we needed it. It was bizarre.
When I tried to discuss this with him, he became defensive and angry. He started threatening that even if I paid the agreed-​upon amount, they might simply show up (in breach of their own quote) to pick up the heaters whenever they wanted, even if it was before our wedding. When I told him I didn’t understand why he would make that threat, he went out of his way to say that they would always prioritize bigger clients than us, if they came along at the last minute. I calmly said it sounded like he was trying to make things more difficult for me. As he got more angry at my having clearly caught him in admitting a bad business practice, he blurted out, «Well, maybe we’ll have heaters available for you and maybe we won’t!» I was stunned by his rudeness and lack of professionalism.
I don’t know if this is how Signature does business in general, or just this one salesman, but either way, we decided to go with Classic instead (their biggest competitor), who were fantastic and utterly professional, through and through.

Signature setup for our wedding in November. The company was not only prepared, efficient, and timely, but also friendly and flexible. Trish, and her team at Signature, were incredibly helpful, always available when needed, and offered creative suggestions that I might have not originally considered. I’ve used Signature Party rentals for several events and each time they have exceeded my expectations.
From the first call through the pickup of rental items, their entire team was always professional, competent, and incredibly friendly. Let’s face it, renting party supplies is not something most people look forward to doing, but the people at Signature Party Rentals have made the process a true pleasure. Trish, one of their design consultants, was so helpful and took the event from good to great. She helped me pick out the right fabrics, colors, and furniture that really «wowed» my guests! Their prices are very reasonable and if you forget an item, they will be there to deliver whatever you need, even if it’s minutes before your event! Signature Party Rentals combines incredible service, a great catalog of items, with very good prices. Why would you go somewhere else?

Our wedding was at our home in Cat City. Signature Party Rentals provided the chairs for the service. The chairs were clean and all fully functional. Signature delivered and picked them up at the precise time we agreed. We were very happy with them and will definitely use Signature again in the future.

I got married on October 20, 2012 in Cathedral City. I used Signature Party for all of my rentals; chairs, tables, table cloths, napkins, umbrellas, ext. After my event they came to collect all of the rentals. They said that they were missing two napkins and there was a damaged umbrella. I asked to see the umbrella because this was the first I heard about it being damaged. They said that it was already packed up in the truck and might have been damaged from falling down. There were no reports of falling umbrellas during my event. The gentlemen from Signature Party said that it might have already been damaged prior to the event and to wait until I hear from a manager early that week. Early the next week, I received a bill in the mail from them saying that I owed money for the two napkins that were missing. There was no mention of the broken umbrella and I figured that they determined that it wasn’t broken or was broken prior to my event. A few weeks later I received a FINAL closeout bill from Signature Party showing a ZERO balance. They either found the 2 missing napkins or waived the fee for the 2 napkins since I already spent thousands of dollars on rentals from the company. Fast forward about two months after my event and a month after my final close out bill from them. I received a new bill and credit card receipt from them with a $ 115 charge to my credit card. They stated it was for the cost of the umbrella. This was an unauthorized charge. I called and emailed them many times with no resolution. I even filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. The company never responded to the complaint. They now have an «F» rating with them. I would not recommend this company!

I did it all by phone and by looking at their web site. Rented tables, chairs, linens, glasses, outdoor heaters etc. Over the phone they were very easy to deal with. Delivery was timely and smooth. Pick-​up after the party was equally timely and without incident. All of the equipment they brought was in great condition. All of the guys on the trucks were extremely courteous. This is as good as it gets in an industry where they are some under financed small companies. Their price was better than the independents and their service was beyond expectation. Bravo!
