Our NEW store is located at 81 581 Hwy 111 in west Indio at the corner of Dr. Carreon and Hwy 111.

We have been serving the Coachella valley for over 35 years.

Our customer’s needs have changed through the years and we have grown to meet these changes.

We specialize in Residential, Commercial, Automotive, and Safes.

We now have Two showrooms with over 100 safes in stock ready for delivery.

We also stock commercial hardware including: Lever locksets, door closers, and exit devices.

Valley Lock and Safe is an AAA service provider.

We will fit keys to most vehicles including those with high security transponder chips.

I’ve called these guys out over a dozen times for both commercial and residential needs. Every tech is exceptionally knowledgeable. They stay until the job is done no matter how long it takes — no excuses. Most of the time you can get same day service.
I usually get Richard. He’s worked with the company for over 20 years (or so I’ve been told). There’s nothing he can’t figure out.
I recommend these guys 100% of the time!

My family’s been coming here for years. As a matter of fact, I would say that half of the keys that I find around the house are made by Valley Lock & Safe. They work really well and don’t ever jam up like the ones you get from Home Depot. The locksmiths are chill people and are really helpful.
I’ve only come here for keys to get copied, so I can’t speak for the other services that they offer, but I would definitely consider them.

We had to take the lock and handle off the casita sliding glass door in order to move a piece of furniture out. I disassembled the lock and upon reassembling, the internal lock housing shifted. Not knowing exactly how the dang thing really worked and now feeling like a complete idiot, I decided the wiser decision would be to call a locksmith. I called this outfit based on the Unilocal rating. Mark, at the Indio store, was very responsive and followed up with me as promised. The estimated arrival time of the locksmith, Sean, was spot-​on. Sean was very personable and very efficient. Within 10 minutes, my lock was fixed and we were able to lock up the casita and sleep securely. These guys are on my permanent «go to» list!

Came in after a locksmith in Coachella didn’t have my key. The key from my Suzuki GSXR broke in half, & I went to the other locksmith because he was a bit closer. He quoted me $ 22 because it was broken, & I agreed because I needed the key.
Thankfully he didn’t have the blank.
I came into Valley Lock & the man at the counter simply said «I can do it.» I had a working key in about a minute for $ 5 & cents. Don’t go anywhere else for your lock & key needs.

Wow! What a difference! Very clean and friendly. The other day after eating breakfast at Sloans my husband said he needed to have a key made. We went into Valley Lock next door and I could not believe how nice the place is. They cut our key and were so friendly and other people were in there commenting on how clean it was. They have so much different stuff to look at. My husband wants to go back and check out the safes. This will be our go to lock guy from now on.
