Description

Specialties

Seafood, steaks, splendid salads, scrumptious burgers, daily specials that will knock your socks off (try the brisket tacos on Mondays if you miss Sunday’s brisket). Margaritas, seafood queso — our menu is extensive. You’ll have to see it to believe it.

History

Established in 2006.

15 years after opening Blackbeard’s on the Beach in Corpus Christi, owner Steve Bonillas was looking for a new venture and opened Blackbeard’s Too in Ingleside. Although the menu is much the same at both restaurants, they are strikingly different in mood and atmosphere. Blackbeard’s Too has an Austin feel and look with its eclectic array of art and a fun-loving staff that invite our patrons to return again and again.

Bonillas, who always wanted to open a jazz lounge never reached that goal before he died in 2012. However, he was the first restaurant owner in the Coastal Bend to offer live music nightly. When he died, he left the restaurants to his wife, Paula, who remains active — behind the scenes.

Meet the Business Owner

Paula B.

Business Owner

Steve Bonillas and his wife Paula were partners in the development of both Blackbeard’s on the Beach in Corpus Christi and Blackbeard’s Too in Ingleside. After Steve died in 2012, Paula was determined to keep his dream alive and is able to do so with an incredibly talented staff, headed by GM Pete Feydo.
