AAA Automobile Club of Southern California

I was at AAA on centennial in Inglewood, Ca. on 6÷6÷16, the service is so poor I give a no star. Employee behind check in corner do not what the hell they are doing. Customers wait time was 30 or more minutes. Plus, I saw a guy bring in lunch from Subway at 10:15. a.m. Poor business ethics or PR. You are about business. NO MORE FOR ME, PEACE OUT. One star for getting my car tag, after calling for management.

I’ve been a member for 22 years, and a Premier member since the program started. I’ve been doing all of my DMV work through AAA for ages!
This office is the worst I’ve ever been to! When I walked in I ask how long the wait was, told wait was about 20 to 25 mins. I was ask if I was paying in cash, I said yes.
About 45 mins into my 20 to 25 min wait, they called my name, so I thought I was ready to go. Then from across the room, the rep asked if I was paying in cash… Seriously!!! What lack of class… Said, yes again, then told to wait!
It took almost one hour! Wasted my lunch break! Then once speaking to the staff, given form to fill out, should have given me the form when I checked in, I had a hour to do it! LOL
Basically, left pissed off and hungry! I have had better service at the DMV!
AAA should just close this branch down, or re-​train the staff, or fire the manager of that branch!
First time disappointed with AAA!

I’ve been a member with AAA for some time now. There was once a time when I felt proud to hold a membership; that has changed. I have to be honest and say I rarely use my membership for towing. The benefits of memberships (discounts and car registration) are what we take of advantage of in our home. Recently, January 27, I visited this office to pay for my car registration like I’ve done in the past. However, I was told because my husbands name is in the registration, I couldn’t do it this year. Keep in mind the same name was on the registration when I was allowed to perform this transaction last year. I asked to speak with a manager because I felt if policy changed, I should have been notified as a member. Instead, the Branch Manager, Lue Rangitsch, simply said, «Sometimes our employees are just trying to get people in and out of here and don’t check to see who’s on the registration. It just depends on who helps you that day. Today, we’re checking.» I stood there for about 3 seconds and said, «That is so unprofessional. How is it that your employees get to choose which policies they follow? If this is happening, then it’s Top-​Down unprofessional ism from team leaders (Managers) to employees.» I then asked for a supervisor over her head. I was given the phone number of Stacey Fitch who was said to be a Regional Manager or whatever the term is they use. I phoned her immediately from my car in the parking lot and left a VERY detailed message (like what I’m typing here). That was Tuesday. Today is Friday. I have yet to hear from her. I phoned Stacey again this morning saying, «I phoned you Tuesday and today is Friday. Could you please display a bit of professionalism and return my call?!»
I think it’s sad how businesses are being ran in our communities. Employees who represent major companies such as AAA have become so laxed in the area of work ethics and professionalism. On top of that, I was blatantly told, «Some employees don’t check, it just depends.» I would be embarrassed to tell a patron that my office (organization) does not follow company policies and protocol.
It’s very easy for me to see why I was treated the way the way I was at this office. There is NO accountability. I mean, I can’t even get a return call from the Supervisor. I’m VERY disappointed in my experience and I’m VERY disappointed that AAA allows this type of «behavior» from its employees. As a customer, I feel someone needs to get in touch with me and explain why this incident was even allowed to occur.
Needless to say, I gladly cancelled my membership. Will they miss me, probably not… They’re so huge and so accustomed to horrible business practices. However, it’s money in my pocket and I get the same service from my insurance company.

I ordered personalized plates! I understand that it takes time! It’s been 2 ½ months since I ordered them; there finally here! YAY!!! I get a call Wednesday the 27^th of August to let me know that there ready to be picked up. I get down to the office and I’m told I can’t have my plates because I didn’t bring any info with me!!! Now if you call a person to notify them that their items are ready, you should at least let them know what all items they should bring with them to pick up their order. Now I have to wait over an HOUR!!! Just to pick up my plates!!! If AAA hires the best people then this office is LACKING A LOT OF INTELLIGENCE!!! If you want to have happy customers then you need to make sure that instructions are given to customers before hand so that they’ll be no confusion!!! Sincerely A PISSED OFF CUSTOMER!

Not the best AAA office. Wait time is forever. Maybe I went on the wrong day (FRIDAY).

Worst AAA i’ve been to. To start off, there are long lines and be prepared to sit in some uncomfortable chairs for at least 30 minutes. Some employees working there are always eating, and are lazy. They make the place feel like a dmv with their tone of voice and how long you have to wait. I go to this AAA because i pass by there to work, but yesterday was the last day I will ever go there. They need a new staff or close the place down. Almost every customer talks trash about the place while your waiting for the next employee to put you to sleep. I rather go to the dmv next time or go to another AAA.

IN AND OUT… EASY PEASEY! 10x better than going to DMV on any day of the week! Thank god for AAA!

WORST AAA in this world!
LONG LINES (resembling the DMV, well not as bad but not as fast)
RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE (asked the woman about the promotional travel sells they are having 1/​26/​13/​-​2÷9÷13 she just confirmed the dates without elaborating… BITCH dont ever)
SMALL, AKWARD wait space (you will have to wait and it will be people in there. They have a tiny section for people waiting for services and really no where else to wait. You can either awkwardly stand outside someones cubicle or sit on someones lap in that 3×3 space –_​-​)
I hope i will never have to come to this AAA again. I perfer my Pasadena location 100x’s more friendly and helpful.

This is like a non-​food version of Costco! They do all sorts of stuff here. Book travel/​vacations, get car insurance, change the address for your driver license. Who’d a thunk being a AAA member had all these perks outside of hotel discounts and roadside assistance!
I came in on the due date of my vehicle registration. Be prepared to wait about 15 mins or so… heck of a lot shorter than the DMV! Paid my fees, got my 2012 shiny new green tags, and was on my way.
