Auto Collision Team

Auto Collision Team has been delivering immaculent body work and paint for my family and myself for over 6yrs. They really do take their time to make sure everything is properly done. Thanks to everyone including Joe for your excellent service. Time to bring in my next show vehicle to get worked on.

This auto body shop is amazing. There are the only shop that carried a mirror cover for my Scion TC. The gentlemen that help me was very kind, willing to assistant with assembly of my part and and answered all my question. I highly recommend them for any service you may have.

My regular car repairman was out of town so I found these guys through eBay because I needed my passenger side mirror replaced ASAP. These guys were not too far from me and installment and the mirror was MUCH cheaper than the mirror alone at the dealer. It was almost half of the price of just the mirror at the dealer, not including installment fee or PAINTING the dang thing.
Now funny story, I actually parked in the wrong spot across the street which was packed with cars and I’m a fairly new driver so I got myself in a really tough spot. Joel in the front was very understanding and got my car out of there for me and proceeded with the installment. I felt like I was sitting for maybe 15 minutes and it was done. It was like sitting down and getting back up. He also gave me an update when they were almost done which I appreciated.
Overall I had a really great experience and would recommend my other teen friends who might (hopefully not) have damage to their car.

This is the only body shop I’ve had experience with. With all the horror stories there are of the body shop industry I’m happy to say I have a good one. I first discovered Auto Collision Team in Feb. of 2010 when a young woman ran into me while I was waiting at a signal. She and I exchanged info. on the street and we decided to forgo insurance claims and use a body shop she recently used for repairs (apparently she had a history of these encounters; she was also quite pretty and had I been single this would have been a «meet cute» LA story). Now you might be asking yourself did she have any connection with this shop other than having used it before? Well the answer is no she did not, just driving challenged. We met at Auto Collision Team the day after the accident and that’s when I met Joel, the owner. Joel handled everything, looking at my car, assessing the damage, and then walking over to the girl and informing her of the estimated cost. She winced, shook her head yes and headed over with Joel to the cash register to pay. A few days later I got my car back. There had been a large «crumple» zone that extended the length of the driver’s side door and into the rear wheel well and now it was totally gone with no noticeable signs of damage. The paint was perfectly matched and the metal was straight and smooth with no «waves» in it. All in all a very good job for the money (about $ 1k as I recall).
Now flash forward to last month, July 2013. Driving along on a Saturday morning I was struck again by a young woman backing out of her driveway, this time on the passenger side (this must be a way for the universe to get back at me for some bad relationships in my 20’s). Well everything went as before except this time I recommended this shop. Joel once again took care of everything and the woman involved paid. The damage this time was not quite as bad but the finished work was just as good. So I definitely recommend this business. I also want to thank those two young women for being so honest and working things out. Props to them.
