No Streak Window Cleaning

Marcus and his brother Darren were awesome! I wanted to get the windows of our rental cleaned. Because the dirt on the second floor windows would just drive me nuts for the next year while we’re here. I’m so glad I found Marcus on Unilocal!I called him this morning and asked if he could come before Thursday and he managed to squeeze me in this afternoon. They came early and worked quickly! I’m so happy with the results! Marcus does a lot of work in the Hermosa and Manhattan area as well, so we discussed my new house construction there and I got some very good advice from him. I will definitely call him after my house is done to work on the windows in my new house. Looking forward to working with him again! I would highly recommend him to anyone I know! Marcus and his partner were professional, friendly and efficient. They were in and out of my house within an hour, and left nothing but sparkling windows behind. I’ve used them on several occasions, and will continue to do so. They carefully removed, cleaned, and replaced all the screens, and did a wonderful job. Not their fault it rained a week later, but at least the rain left less of a mess.

I have been using No Streak Window Cleaning that is owned and operated by MARCUS for several years. Marcus has always returned my calls, arranged his schedule to meet my needs and he and his staff have always done a great job and been very nice and professional. I use No Streak Window Cleaning 2 times a year for my house.

This is the third time using No Streak Window Cleaning and they are the best. Marcus and Terry are here right now and their attention to detail is amazing. They are friendly and very neat. Please use this company to give your house a bright new look.

We have been using No Streak Window Cleaning with Marcus and his amazing team for 8 years now! I don’t know why I waited this long to write a review, because they are fantastic! In both of our houses (we moved during the years we have used them), we have the type of windows & glass doors with individual panes, which are literally a «pain» to clean. They do the BEST job inside and out, and they also offer power wash services we recently started to use — and the entire house and surrounding patios look so clean. When they are done, it looks like we have new windows and a new paint job! They have always been on time, thorough and work in a timely manner, as well as extremely kind and professional. I highly recommend them!

Marcus and his team just finished up my home and needed to show how much I appreciate a job well done. I was pleased with the job I have asked him to come back on a quarterly basis. Pricing is well worth it when you can see everything outside in a new light.

They bent so many of my window screens. I would not recommend them. They also sell a groupon and then charge additional once they arrive.

secret!!! I contacted Marcus, the owner, last week and he was so happy to hear from me… After-​all, it’s been a year since my windows were done…
I don’t have to tell you: they were in dire need of cleaning… They were terrible…
At any rate, contacted Marcus last week and scheduled an appointment… Yestreday, he & his crew came and gave my windows & screens the royal-​hook-​up…
WOW-​WEE!!! No wonder, the name is No Sreak, definitely not a misnomer, because there weren’t any streaks…
They were glistening… In fact, the clean windows made me & my apartment very HAPPY:

By the way, Marcus and I were rehatching how I found him in the yellow pages and he mentioned, Attorney Robert Shapiro also found him in the yellow pages and is also a regular client… He’s definitely at the top of the charts…

I purchased a Living Social deal for the cleaning of the exterior of 15 windows and was extremely satisfied with the outcome. I just saw all the terrible reviews and I’m pretty shocked. Yes, their email has an automated response, but I received both follow up emails, phone calls and even text messages from their very pleasant staff. They are a busy company so people expecting instant responses and next day bookings are crazy. We had paint chunks dried on our windows, and dirty screens (from not being cleaned in 5+ years) They took the initiative to ask if i wanted additional services to scrape the paint off the windows and shampoo the screens, for 11 windows but they weren’t pushy AT ALL. It was only an added $ 36 and my windows are SOOO clean. I really couldn’t be happier and it’s sad to see all these poor reviews.

Same opinion as other 1 stars… set up an appt. over a month ago and was told someone would be in contact with me to set up a time. After 2 weeks I got a message to call back ASAP to set it up, called back and left a message, 1 week later I called again only to leave another message, 1 week later I received an email telling me a time was set up and to confirm, I confirmed and then a week later got a call saying that the pressure washer was broken and could we reschedule in 2 weeks! Finally showed up an hour late from our agreed upon time.
He then offered to put the screens back up for me IF I PAID AN EXTRA $ 2 per screen! You gotta be kidding me, right? He had my wife move the pots around the house cause he didn’t want to be bothered and then wouldn’t help my wife put them back, she had to force him through scolding which she’s good at believe me!
These guys are tricky… if you use them or get suckered into buying a coupon from them be prepared to have to pay extra for things like screen cleaning, interior cleaning, etc. All in all I won’t go back to them. too much headache for the potential discount. I would NEVER recommend them.

I live in a complex that has a bunch of tri-​level single family homes, and ran into Marcus while he was working on another house. What I really liked was that he was personable, courteous and friendly. I asked him for a quote after he finished up his current house. When I told him what I wanted his quote was very resonable, and I was able to see his quality of work on the other house in the complex.
Long story short he took care of our entire house, both he and his other worker were both very professional, and our windows looked great. I couldn’t believe the difference! Like there was no glass! Any my windows weren’t caked with dirt either, just the normal film from dust/​dirt/​rain.
He did such a fantastic job that I believe he was contracted to do 8 others in the complex.
Seems like alot of the negative posts are from groupon/​living social deals, and unfortunately I too have encountered other small businesses totally inundated with coupon redemptions that it can totally sink a good small business without the intent.
I hope Marcus and his company overcome the pitfalls of groupon/​living social. His normal prices are very reasonable, and his quality of work and professionalism would make me a repeat customer without internet coupons.

Sadly, I have to chime in on the chorus of horrible reviews. I tried to work it out with the owner, who just flaked 2 more times after the fiasco.
The short story– booked an appointment nearly a month out. Took a day off to be there. Guy showed up an hour early when I was grabbing some lunch. I wasn’t happy but told him to start, I guess. When I got there, he tried to up-​sell me on a bunch of stuff. He got mad at me when I didn’t go for it. I have maybe 18 exterior windows. I paid for 20. I ended up with maybe 4 windows looking worse than I started. Kept trying to sell more stuff and making excuses. Windows looked WAY worse than when he started. Told me the dirt was inside, blah blah.
He got mad again, left in the middle after FOLLOWING me inside my house and giving me a huge song and dance. It was awful.
Then I spoke with the owner Dana, she promised to make it right and come the next day. Never showed up. Made a promise to make another appointment. Nearly 2 weeks have passed. Nothing.
The coupon is now expiring. I can’t use it or make an appointment. I can’t get a refund. How nice. Turns out that you don’t get what you pay for.
Moral of the story– if you like to get up-​sold and charged extra and not even get the job done after months when you already have paid, then call these people.
I wish I could give them negative stars for having to start over and hassle with this.

Very shady– I scheduled my appt 3 weeks in advance and took off work in order to be home. Received a phone call 9pm the night before telling me they double booked and they would have to reschedule. Week later they came for the cleaning, and when they arrived they told me it would be an extra $ 45 because my windows were on the 3^rd story of a 2 story building, they wanted to count the garage as the first story. They had come by previously to confirm the price. I told them they needed to leave. Total scam, don’t waste your time.

Don’t waste your time or money. Total scam with this company. They won’t return phone calls or emails, just an automated msg for both. I’ve been trying to reach them for weeks leaving repeated voicemails and emails, finally set a appointment and the day of Marcus is a NO SHOW. Doesn’t return a single phone call. I’ve contacted Living Social for a refund since I’ve prepaid for this service and they said to take it up with the company owner. Living Social, equally a horrible business. I’ve since deleted my account with them and called my credit card company for a full refund. What TERRIBLE customer service.

Outstanding value — I too used a LivingSocial voucher to get a deal on a power wash & 20 windows. I booked online and was pleased at the response (s) and response times to my emails.
We have an enclosed sunroom with all sliding glass doors (as walls) and they did an excellent job in getting them crystal clear. No streaks, the dirt was gone and they took care with our older screens to not damage them but make sure they were indeed clean. I am very happy with the service and the value. The power wash to my house was great — again its an older home — but the wash gave it a freshened up look that we haven’t had since we moved in! Got rid of the gross cobwebs in the eaves and dinginess on the walls in time for a family party.

I too was introduced to No Streak Window Cleaning by the Groupon offer. We contacted them at the end of June, but they were deluged with customer requests. They called on ⁸⁄₆ with a cancellation for ⁸⁄₁₀ — hurrah!
Terry came to clean our windows. The Groupon had VERY clearly set out how windows would be counted — so we bought the Groupon for 25 windows, because our windows counted as 23 windows (we have lots of double hung windows, which each counted as two). I have had my windows cleaned once before by someone who left streaks and dirt. Terry cleaned everything to shimmering perfection. The cleaning included cleaning the tracks and the screens. It took 2.5 hours to clean all of the windows.
I am tremendously impressed by this company. I have seen Groupon blow up for many businesses, and I have often had to wait for an appointment, but the resulting service is generally disappointing because of the rush. No Streak Window Cleaning delivered the best window cleaning that I have ever had. I will definitely work with them again. I particularly love that their are a local, family owned business.

Marcus and Terry came today to clean my condo’s 12+ windows. Marcus was prompt with returning my initial email to schedule the cleaning appointment. They did a fantastic job and were efficient and friendly as can be. I’m a very happy camper and will most certainly use No Streak again for my next cleaning. No one better!
To all the Groupon/​Google Deal reviews that complain about slow response, this is a small family business and due to the overwhelming nature of these deals you need to be patient (how can a team of 4 – 6 service 100 new customers within 48 hours?)! I waited two weeks for my appointment and couldn’t be happier… this is not emergency heart surgery — it’s window cleaning!

Agree with some other reviewers here that I had initially some problems redeeming my Groupon — getting in touch took time, a few tries, and then I was given a date WAY too far out to be acceptable. But after some prodding (and a little nudge from support @ Groupon), Marcus was very responsive and we set a timely date. He was also very personable and extended condolences on a recent death in my family, which came out during our exchange.
NOW… on to the work and workers themselves: Tyrone and his partner (sorry! You were so nice and I forgot your name!) were: personable, professional, polite, particular, polished, prompt, pleasant… PERFECT! They made quick work of my 10 windows and screens. We chatted as they worked and they didn’t miss a beat: Polite, funny, and smart. What a bonus — AND they did a great job on the windows. Since the Groupon was such a deal, I tipped them both generously. I will add this company to my regular roster of service people for the house and happily recommend them to friends and neighbors.
Again, you may have to ride ‘em a bit for the appointment setting part (I think they are overwhelmed because of the Groupon response), but once you square that away, a total pleasure. My windows look great, the screens are clean… and even the view is nicer!
