V & N Nail Design

This has got to be the worst salon on the west coast or at least in the state of California. The people are not helpful and always seem confused when you ask any question. They’re super unsanitary. I’m used to them sanitizing their tools, and I did not see them do that. NOT ONCE. Thankfully whenever they attempted to use any on me, I would decline. I also feel I got a simple shellac/​gel manicure, but the way he applied the polish was sloppy to the point that the liquid pooled near my cuticles. I’m suspecting this will cause the polish to come off faster. They also don’t carry OPI, which I feel any up to par salon should do. In any case, avoid, avoid, avoid!

I was recommended here by a friend who comes a lot. I’ve never been up until today. I love my gel mani and pedi. And another perk is they are open until 730pm work working people like me. Kathy did my nails and she did great. I will be returning

Honestly don’t even waste your time here they suck I got a manicure the lady put 7 yes 7 layers of polish and we’re still spotty when I left my friend got a messed up uneven full set I definitely agree with everyone else on her

Worst fucken place place ever!!! Coming here was the biggest mistake ever, my nails were soo horrible I had to go somewhere else to fix them because they refused too! I hope this business shuts down…

Worst nail salon in Inglewood by far. Lisa and John, who I believe own the place, are incredibly rude. I went in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure today in an empty salon. I sat in a chair for 15 minutes before my pedicure started. I guess Lisa and John only do expensive services and I wasn’t worth the time. Until I asked Lisa if she could do the design on her toes but for my hands in gel… $$$$ all of a sudden John skips over from outside on his iPad to do my hands. As I tell him I do not want him to use a drill on my natural nails, he then says to me you shouldn’t do gel because the way you take off no one wants to do for you. Well excuse me. I kindly tell him he does not have to complete my service and he then gets up and disappears. Mind you, I wasn’t asking for much because I ended up taking my gel off myself as my pedicure continued. So now Lisa and John resurfaces and tell me that I have to pay $ 5 for taking MY OWN GEL OFF??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Save yourself from this ghetto salon, so not worth the headache. Take a walk across the street next to the donut shop or down the street by Popeyes.

Jon sucks, he literally yelled at me because I wanted him to shape my nails narrow. He said he didn’t want to do it then gossiped to another customer about it. I overheard and we basically got into an argument. To the point where he was yelling «who the hell are you???» Lmao what a joke. I had to tell him to chill because non of his coworkers would say anything. I’m not sure why this place is open. Every blue moon I can say it was an alright experience but it’s not even worth the price. They should either close or Lisa, the manager, should fire Jon because he’s literally an idiot. On my way out I figured I’d make the trip worth my wild so I shared a few hostile words telling him to get anger management and to find a job he actually enjoys. What a bitter place to go for a spa experience. More like fight club ugh

Great prices with beautiful designs. I don’t know what some of the unhappy reviewers are expecting at such low prices. I noticed in some reviews people said that the nail technicians are rude because they’re secretly complaining about the customers in Vietnamese. That is simply not true. I speak Vietnamese and I heard the technicians say things to each other, such as, translating what the customer is asking for and giving each other advice or instruction for whatever they’re working on. There is a small language and cultural barrier at this nail salon which I believe is causing a misunderstanding, but the nail techs here seem to really care about making sure the customer gets what they want.

This place is a joke. As i thought I was in the area and would stop in. BIG MISTAKE. Walked in. Four techs not doing anything. Just stared at me. So i said pedicure please. Still staring. I just walked out. Then i heard one of them yelling «pick a color, pick a color». I kept walking. As the other Unilocalers said, this place is a f***ing JOKE. Is this really a legit business or? This place is HORRIBLE!!! and so dirty. Not even worth one star. Just very unprofessional.

This nail salon has been opened for quite some time. The neighboring businesses have come and go, but this nail salon has stayed. It makes sense though because they do really great stuff! I’ve been a customer for years and they’ve slowly remodeled the place. It’s much cleaner and open than before. The technicians are very nice. They want to give you exactly what you want, so just ask in a nicely. Most of the technicians have worked in this field for over 10 years, so they know what they’re doing. The designs are top-​notch.
There’s a private lot so no need to worry about parking. They have a credit card machine, and definitely take walk-​ins. Give this place a shot. You won’t regret it!

This place use to be better back in my high school days but I went recently and they were rude, wasn’t that clean and lazy. I asked for a different color because it wasn’t flattering and she got an attitude but umm excuse me this is your job? The lady who did my feet barely touch/​massaged them. I wouldn’t return there again. My nails look alright I’ve had way better. You get what you pay for basically. $ 40 for everything ehh

Poor customer service, I honestly leave pissed every time, I only go there because they cheap as hell. The nail job be average at best, smh.

Eh, this place isn’t the best.

this place is horrible ! the workers are rude ! and the guy who does nails suck! a day after I left paying 25 dollars for my nails. simple gel nails! nothing extravagant or complicated. three broke… i mean seriously ! and the think is I ASK him should he put more acrylic to make it stronger he said no, I knew they were too thin. I’m so fucking mad. don’t go there this place is a joke. far below average. GROSS !!!

You’ve Been Warned!
Is it possible for me not to place a star… I mean, I’m huge on «If you dont have anything nice to say, dnt say it at all» but dam!!! It’s gorgeous out, 90 degree weather in early March, why not get a pedicure… So I go to my cousins place (she likes her nail tech). No problem! I make it known that I would like a pedicure; but not before my cousin recommended that I wait for a specific person… okay. Apparently I pissed off the head customer service tech and was told «what are u talkin about… Make up your mind!!!» WITH ATTITUDE! I couldn’t believe my ears!!! I was instantly perturbed. I picked my jaw up from the floor and I deeply exhaled! I cancelled my service and sat patiently in the chair waiting for my cousin! She then got a little irritated and we proceed to quietly walk out of this nail salon!
All I can say is thank you Lord for patience!!!
Now I feel amazing and Im ready for some R &R!

I admit I have a problem with staying faithful to one nail parlor.
I have yet to go to the same person more then 2 times.
With that being said, I went here to get my eyebrows cleaned up and the lady just completely misunderstood my request. She took waaaayyyyy too much off my already thin brows. I have been growing them for months now and the clean up was meant to get rid of any straggles. She left my forehead barren with thinning ends of my brows. I just need to find one lady who understands my brow needs and contribute to my desired look. Not desecrate my face with chula brows.
