We stopped off at E-​Z Mart along the way to Raquette Lake for a bathroom break. There were about 5 of us in total and once we entered, there was a sign that read «Restrooms are for paying customers only». No problem, we felt obligated to purchase something for using their facilities. They have a variety of items, from bug spray to liquor. They also have a deli and fresh food too. One of us wanders off with food purchased from the deli and begins to sit on their bench outside. The owner comes by and shoos him away. Terrible, terrible customer service if you ask me.
