History

Established in 1996.

Married in 1977 at the age of 18, Ivan and Kathy Robinson dreamed of raising a family and owning their own business one day, while working together. Ivan spent 22 years with General Motors as a technician and received the best training available.

Since starting Advanced Automotive, Inc in 1996, Ivan and Kathy have assembled the best automotive team in the Upstate. Ivan refers to them as the «Dream Team» to have in the Automotive Industry. This team consists of eight (8) technicians, seven (7) of which have the prestigious certification of ASE Master Technician. In addition, all seven (7) Master Certified technicians are also ASE Advanced Level Specialists, which is a separate, and higher level certification. To add to their already impressive full service resume, Advanced Automotive, Inc is certified as an ASE Blue Seal Shop; the only public full service repair facility within 70 miles with this certification.
