Bowen’s Landing is a full service casual dinning restaurant featuring Fresh Seafood, Certified Angus Beef Steaks, Pasta’s, Salads, Desserts and a well stocked bar of Beers, Wines and Premium Spirits. With a 700 square foot covered patio with a large stone fireplace and close by water feature outside dinning is very enjoyable.

History

Established in 2012.

Steve Bruce, former President and CEO of Café Enterprises (dba Fatz Café’), opened Bowen’s Landing with his family members on June 28th, 2012. With his wife Delores, his son Stephen and his daughter Lindsay, they own and operate this cozy neighborhood eatery.

Steve began his restaurant career in 1983 at Spartan Food Systems as a management trainee with Quincy’s Family Steakhouse. He worked in restaurant operations in many positions, eventually becomming a multi-​unit leader for 49 locations. In 1993 he left Quincy’s and joined Café Enterprises (dba Fatz Café’), a small regional chain of four restaurants. Steve operated a single Fatz location for 1 ½ years before taking over the multi-​unit leadership for the company. Steve was appointed Sr. V. P of Operations in 1997 and in 2005 was appointed President. In 2008 the company was re-​capitalized and Steve was appointed President and CEO. During Steve’s 18 year tenure with Café’ Enterprises the company grew from four locations to forty-​nine with revenues in excess of $ 100 million.
