Hate giving bad reviews, but so incredibly disappointed with the way I was treated.
My car died in a parking lot, and so I proceeded to call AAA services for what I thought would be a tow. After making the call and was told I’d have to wait a half hour, I figured it’d be best to go wait in a store to avoid the Florida heat for as long as possible. I get a call from a grumpy man about 20 minutes later saying he’s been waiting for me. I go out to meet him and he reprimands me for making him wait 15 minutes (he had my number anyway, why didn’t he call right away if he didn’t see me?).
He then proceeded to complain about how my car color was not the way I described it and called me a midget after sitting in the car to try to start it (I’m 5’4). I guess he figured I knew nothing about cars and brought out a Booster Pac to jump start my car — but I tried telling him that I already did that since I had jumper cables in my back seat (obviously it didn’t work, which was the reason he was there).
Altogether it was a frustrating experience that could’ve been completely avoided. I’d certainly look elsewhere for towing services from now on.
