Located in downtown Iowa City, identified as a City of Literature by UNESCO, we offer the best in immaculate comfortable accommodations, gourmet from scratch breakfasts, and proximity to The University of Iowa campus. Free DSL and wireless internet service is provided throughout the house, individual suites, and on porches. We have gardens to explore, and wonderful old fashioned front porches on which to relax and read or watch the activities of a vibrant University town. Having been in business for 20 years, our «family» of visitors numbers in the thousands and continues to grow with many guests returning again and again.
History
Established in 1990.
The house was originally a private residence. In later years it was a Youth Home, a home for troubled youth. Since 1990 it has been a bed and breakfast.
