I’ve used Corliss for four years. They are knowledgeable*, approachable and have most anything related to plants that you need. I do depend upon their knowledge(as well as professional arborists in the area) to choose and plant the correct vegetation for my property. * Deb Lambert is amazing

We bought a house on almost an acre with no trees on the property I had Corliss come in and plant four trees. I had heard they were the best and the quality of their trees was great. I picked the trees out on their lot. When they came one of the trees was not the one I picked, they said that happened sometimes, that people swapped tags — lovely. Anyway, one tree had to be replaced within a year. And two others never made it but died after the warranty or guaranty or whatever you call it on trees ran out. A 50%(really 25% since they had to replace one immediately) is not what I would call very good. I will never use them again nor would I recommend them to any one else.

Spring 2011 was my first spring in my new house. At this time, I was merely an aspiring gardener with a gardening book and a dream of a lush backyard, waiting for the ground to thaw so I could plant. By mid-May, I had visted all of my local nurseries, but Corliss quickly stood out as having a remarkable plant selection and knowledgeable staff. I returned to Corliss several times over to purchase various shrubs and perennials and had a good experience each time. Not only did they give me advice as to how to design my garden beds, but when I noticed skeletonization of the leaves of my rose bush one day, they immediately recognized it was caused by a slug and recommended an effective product. Thanks to Corliss my rose was completely cured within a few weeks and is now thriving. Then, a recent customer service experience won me over completely… I’d purchased an evergreen shrub from Corliss earlier this spring and, to my dismay, noticed it was shedding its leaves. I wrote them an email, describing the problem, and they responded immediately asking for more details to help them diagnose the issue. We emailed back and forth all weekend, and they were able to diagnose the problem and tell me what to do to help solve it. Then they went well above and beyond and came to my house to take a look in order to be certain of the problem, and followed up with me via phone, guiding me as to how to save the shrub. I am so impressed and appreciative of this high level of customer service. They are truly professionals in terms of their knowledge, as well as their customer care. Thank you Corliss!
