New Meadows Service

This place is fantastic. I trust them with my vehicle because they are honest and fair. After six years of being their customer I’ve never had a bad experience.

New Meadows is my car mechanic of choice, and Joe (the mechanic) is my car’s best friend.
I have tried many mechanics around the north shore and have finally settled on these guys. It is always a drag to have car problems, but New Meadows relieves some of the stress and worry. They are very reasonable with their prices. If there was nothing to fix, then there was nothing to pay! They provide their expert opinions while still listening to your needs and never pressuring you into extensive work. They are smart and know their stuff which means less time poking around and guessing. Most of all, I trust Joe– I can just tell he is an honest guy. One time, my car was making strange noises and Joe and i drove around the block together to listen to the sounds. Now that’s service!
My car has visited them probably 6 – 7 times in the last 3 years. I am now living in Newbury and working in Cambridge, but I am still finding a way to bring my car here.

Joe’s the best! These guys are always super busy and still take the time to answer questions and help you out. They shake your hand and look you in the eye. A good mechanic is very tough to find. Prices are always fair too.

LOVE New Meadows! Have been all over Ipswich for auto repair and this came highly recommended by a car enthusiast that I know that repairs the body of cars. They have been caring for our 4 cars for the past 5 years. They don’t come any more honest and we have never had a bad experience! Almost everyone I know goes to him and loves him. Highly recommend Joe @ New Meadows. We have a Lexus, Audi, BMW & Acura, 2 of which are ‘97s w/​high mileage.

I’ve had excellent experiences with New Meadows Service, which is now my go-​to shop for the care of my persnickety truck.
My 9 year old ford with 110K miles on it is starting to turn into Der Lepervagon, (little parts falling off, strange noises, moments of possession. .)
And they’ve consistently checked it out, called with a detailed and prioritized description of what they’ve found, asked what I’d like done on the priority list, done it, and charged me reasonably for it. All this, and in a very timely manner — I work nearby, and they’re great about giving me a realistic time estimate so I know how to plan my rides and comings and goings.
Last project — I required new wheels. The dealership quoted me a price that made me want to sell my faithful truck for a new hyundai. I went here, and they got it done for half the price.
The mechanic called around for prices on wheels with me right there listening, wrote down the prices for me to see, and explained the differences between what was available for each price.
I like that.
