Happy Trails Trading Post

I and the family go up to Fay Lake Resort in Long Lake, WI. The closest place to go for groceries is here in Iron River. As I drove in a saw this new place.
The room has a fun old store front feel and is more like a place you might find in the village at a college. But the folks working here could use some help with being more warm and proud of what they have. Example: When I asked for a suggestion the person I think owns the place said, «Um, I don’t know. I guess it depends on what you like. I’m not sure.» Hey, here is your big chance. Brag a bit on what you do well. BTW you have a good product and nice place.
The food is very good. I had a Philly cheese steak pizza. It has all you would expect from a Philly Cheese steak and a white sauce. Very good. The place has high end ice cream and of course fudge. I may need to go back to get some of that.

Everything, including the smell, is perfect here. They take a lot of pride in what they do, and I hope they remain open for years to come.

Ice cream is amazing! Staff was very friendly even when we had a large order. Def going to come back when we visit again and try new flavors and some of their lunch options.
