I’m so happy with the alterations I have had done at Miracle Works! Gwen and her son Cornelius are friendly and do incredible work. I had two pairs of pants tailored, and they fit like a glove. Cornelius also fixed a small hole in another pair for me while I waited! I highly recommend Miracle Works, and I’ll definitely be back.

I went to this place because of the reviews. I was a little nervous I had a silk dress that needed to be taken in and I was not sure how it would come back. They did a fabulous job! The alteration was spot on. My dress fits like a glove! The alteration was so well done! I also had a zipper fixed and pants hemmed. All of it turned out great. Your clothes will be returned in fabulous condition. If you need anything fixed or altered bring it here! You will not be disappointed! Also it’s a family business and everyone is welcoming and friendly

I highly recommend this tailor. I have a very unique and one-​of-​a-​kind wedding dress that I needed altered. Being new in town, I didn’t have a tailor that I had a history with and I was pretty nervous about letting just anyone alter my dress! I chose this shop based on the Unilocal reviews and, upon meeting the owner, Gwen, my nerves were immediately calmed.
Because my dress ended up being very difficult to work with, the alteration ended up taking several weeks and I made a handful of visits to try my dress on during the process. This may be seen as an inconvenience to some, but I feel that this shows how careful and thoughtful Gwen was about what she was doing. I would rather make several visits over a period of time than have someone going rogue with the scissors on a sentimental piece of clothing. During each visit, she would go over options with me and we would make a decision together about what was best. The end result is stunning and looks exactly how I wanted it to look. In addition to this, I enjoyed visiting with Gwen when I would stop in and we ended our last session with a hug. :)
If you are looking for a thoughtful and talented tailor, I definitely recommend this shop!

I’ve been to several tailors over the years, and Miracle Works is by far my favorite. I’ve had half a dozen things tailored with them, and each item has come back looking like it had been made to fit me at the factory. What makes them really stand out, however, is their customer service. Just to give an anecdote, I brought them a leather jacket that needed a new zipper. Miracle Works spent weeks finding me the exact right zipper, and even ordered me a second one when the first one didn’t quite match the jacket. And when I got the jacket back, an ugly stain on the jacket had magically disappeared without any charge or mention from them. Truly excellent customer service.

So I’m updating after the wedding weekend my BF needed the suits for and the fit on both jackets was excellent! He also got his pants hemmed. We promised the owner we would show her pics of us at the event when we got back, that’s just how friendly the owner is! It’s hard to find great customer service these days so when you do find it, it’s definitely refreshing! Will be using this place exclusively going forward! Oh and she was on time, pick up is normally scheduled for after 2 pm on the day needed.

After using their services for over six months, I can say that they are top notch. They listen to the consumer and make the clothes fit like you want them. They do great work on mens’ suits, such as tapering pants legs and bringing in the sides of a blazer or jacket. Their prices are reasonable and the job is completed when they say it will be done. The quality is top notch and they remember you and treat you like family. This place is a hidden gem, as getting quality menswear alterations in the city of Birmingham can only be had at two or three places in the city. I welcome the addition of another top quality tailor that is conveniently located for the denizens of eastern Birmingham
