24 Hour Fitness

Just another sport club turned to super sport for the money. Only change made here was the towel service and price of admission for those not grandfathered in like myself. Same old equipment with a couple Hoist products thrown in. I still dislike Hoist equipment thoroughly so that makes this club less desirable. At least it’s not super packed and pretty well kept. It has all the amenities it should as a sport club with Basketball & pool.

I usually workout at this gym late at night, and I already had mixed feelings about this 24 l, but now I’m ready to write a review. Chris at the front desk was the funniest employee I’ve ever had the privilege of interacting with because he created policies out of thin air. Every 24 worker is super cool at the front desk, but this dude not so much. First off when I walked in, he wasn’t at his station and I had to find a basketball pump on my own. When he came back and found me inflating my own basketball he made me check in again. After that he told me I had to leave. Thanks 24 for letting me deal with the most awkward employee you could’ve found. Get that guy out of there, and hope I decide to renew my membership.

Terribly rude customer service. Dirty grimey gym. Complete waste of money if you attend here

I really like this location. Nice people and staff. I highly recommend this location.

My iPad was stolen right off the treadmill when I stepped off to answer a call. Even though they have cameras, their manager Ryan stated that they couldn’t do anything. This literally happened at the second treadmill from the left at 1:30 pm on 4÷3÷2016. Ryan’s inability to help resolve this is mystifying.

Don’t get me wrong. They need to keep better maintenance on this gym. That’s a no brainer-​pictures speak a thousand words. However, I feel like the high luxury amenities (that I decided to pay for) of a gym like the Jamboree SS almost detract from the workout. Like you go into Irvine not cuz it’s pretty or anything, you’re there to fck up some weights! If that makes sense to anyone. However the mold situation is a safety hazard and for that reason I won’t return to this gym.

This place is still a dump. Nothing has changed since my last review and the place is more dirty and run down. I hope no one actually gets suckered into joining the place. If you are thinking about joining, cut out this Unilocal review and ask the staff the following questions:
1. How often is the place cleaned?
2. Can I try some of the machines? Why are they broken?
3. Does the sound work with the TVs? Why can’t I increase the volume?
4. How often do you test the cardio equipment and the TVs attached to them?
5. Do you make sure the buttons work on the machines?
6. Looks like that layer of dust in the vents has been there for over 7 – 8 years, see #1.
7. Why is the locker room so dirty? The tiles on the floor are chipped?
8. Why are the sinks in the locker rooms dirty?
9. Does anyone ever clean the bathrooms or the pool area?
10. Do you have a repair request book upstairs?
Nothing gets fixed here and the equipment doesn’t get tested. I might come here one day with stickers and tape the issues with each machine. Not sure if the exposure will cause them to take any action.

So my trainer Angel is literally the best trainer I have ever had. She’s so motivational and will push you but not beyond your comfort zone. Honestly, training with her is such an amazing feeling. I’m sore, but I feel great and I can’t wait to start seeing results with her.

Ghetto ass 24 hour fitness for Irvine.
Seriously was expecting a better 24 for Irvine.
Reason for 2 stars:
Not all of the stairmasters have cupholders. They are also the older versions. The newer ones have more workout options
T Bar row machine felt very awkward & the pin was super hard to adjust the seat
Atmosphere felt dingy, old, smelled sorta weird too. Felt crammed.
Seriously needs to update equipment. I’ve seen 24 Hour Fitness Sports looking better than this «Super Sport»
Music was horrible, I have heard other playlists at different 24’s, they were better.
The only reason why I’m giving this 24 2 stars is because the plates were actually iron (not shitty rubber = no bouncy plates!) & the front desk lady let me in despite my membership level is at Sport.

I haven’t been at this location for a while. I usually go to the Supersport in Santa Ana because the pool is nicer and the equipment is newer. Today I decided to give this location a try, and I loved it!!!
Verdict: My 2^nd favorite location.
1. Not crowded
2. Easy to find parking
3. More variety of equipment
4. Locker/​Bathroom is clean
I can’t ask for more — I’m glad I gave this location a second try. I’ll be seeing this 24 gym more often in the future! Happy work out!

At the gym currently. There’s so much water and filth on the locker room floor from patrons that don’t dry off and pace around nude after showering. There’s a man in there right now directing people to walk around a yellow puddle that he says is urine in the middle of the floor. $ 40 a month for this. I blame 24 hour AND the clientele here. Why is it acceptable to sit naked on the benches with no towel after showering, dripping wet? Why is it ok to shave and leave your clumps of hair on the counter? Why should you wear 16 sprays of cologne so everyone in a 30 foot radius can smell you? Or smoke in the parking lot before working out and throw your empty pack and cigarettes on the ground?

I’ve been attending this gym for 3 years now and actually enjoy it more than other gyms. (My dad and brother are 24 members too) This weekend I finally convinced my mom to do a trial. She has back issues so she was specifically interested in trying out the Aqua class. I had asked prior about Trials and the lady at the front clearly said it was a week long trial.
When we came in on Sunday to get her a trial pass, they told us it was only a 3 day pass. After our workout, we checked the schedule posted for workout classes to see when the Aqua classes took place for my mom to try. Being that my mom works full time, the only Aqua class she would be able to make was the Friday 10:30am and the Saturday 8am. She asked if it was possible that she could use her remaining 2 trial days over the weekend and the guy said no because her trial had already started.
I wasn’t sure why they couldn’t just extend the trial to a week… (When I brought my friend in, they gave her a week trial).
My mom then asked how she’d be able to try the Aqua class. The guy had the audacity to reply and tell her that she had to get a membership to try the class. The whole reason my mom wanted to get a membership was for the AQUA CLASS! Although my mom liked this gym a lot, she was completely disinterested after the customer service.

The only thing good about this company is that it is open 24 hours.
Other than that. This company sucks ass.
Just another greedy ass gym that doesn’t care about their members. All they are interested in is getting you to sign that contract so they can electronically withdrawal that monthly due from your account and with the hopes that you’d never use the facility.
If you do decide to use the gym? They will push you to pay for overpriced training sessions from under qualified trainers fresh out of highschool.
Trust me when I say that if you want personal training? You’d be better off getting from a seasoned trainer in a place where that is provided exclusively and for a fraction of the cost of what this greedy ass company will charge you.
The club managers and upper management all make over six figures a year and really don’t do anything other that tell their lower level, minimum wage employees how to fold towels and check members in. Non deserving of such high salaries, is the reason training cost so much and also why broken equipment take so long for them to fix.
Save your money and go somewhere else cheaper. And like I said. If you want personal training? Look for places that offers that exclusively cause the whole program that 24 hr fitness offers, is total dog shit compared to anything else available to you.

Hh … This 24 hour fitness does a looks like a super support its old it’s very dirty shower and dirty bathroom so x.

One of my favorite gym in 24h-​f. The only problem that in the late hours the bathroom not that clean…

I drove from Los Angeles and wanted to kill some time here in Irvine since my sister was working and lives across the street. I had no clue this was a super sport and I have a regular 24 account.
The male ginger receptionist who was working at 1pm when I arrived on Monday was not customer service savvy and had no interest in helping since I told him I am not from around here. All he suggested was that I should drive all the way to Mission Viejo.
Rude.

Ive gone into this gym many more time sence this review was posted, nothing has changed, the manager, stands at the front desk and doesmaintained equipment
Update: since this review, I e gone into the RSM 24 & even the manager doesn’t say hi, have a good workout or any kind of greeting… really unprofessional

This gym is old and the crowd is depressing. The place smells like urine, there are leaks in the ceiling and the equipment was last updated in 1988. Do yourself a favor and go to the one in Irvine Marketplace off of jamboree and the 5 fwy. This gym bites.

Good for workout because is close to work and I have a membership for this club. The parking is really bad, so you may need some extra time to park. The facility is not clean, often missing the hand sanitizer and the cleaning supplies for equipment. In addition the equipment is dirty, some equipment needs repairs and some is pretty outdated.

anyone who knows me know I pretty much goto groupx classes for my fitness jam. IRrvine Center Drive groupx classes are part of my workouts! i thought I would update my review with the latest classes I take.
Tuesdays: I usually goto irvine spectrum on tuesdays, but if i get of early at work, this gym has a 5:30pm bodypump class by lissa. best thing about this gym is there is plenty of equipments, and if you are so used to not getting a ticket to get into a class at other gyms — forget it. there is always plenty of room for everyone. I never seen a single person not being able to attend the class.
Wednesdays: LesMills master trainer Jericho teaches bodycombat at 5:30pm — which is super fun, and intense workout. a lot of time the class does get subs, but she alwasy finds time to make it to this most times. and there is a 6:30 pump class by Amy which is another fix for my wednesday workout routine.
Mondays and thursdays — there isnt anything interms of LesMills classes.
