Staff was rude when I went. I don’t like that they make you pay for goggles or they give you eyelid stickers. Super lame. I don’t want to OWN tanning goggles. I only went once & see why they closed.

Under construction? Why you gotta lie? I’ve been trying to go for weeks and the doors have been closed and no one tells you why. Well now we all know you’re closing down. Would have been really classy to tell the people that have memberships that before you closed your doors. Never going back again. Ever. Ask for a refund if you are a member and make sure they DO NOT CHARGE YOUR CARD FOR MEMBERSHIP FEES!!!

This tanning salon closed SUDDENLY! no warning, nothing! I had several lotions that I spent a lot of money on in the salon and I was given no warning whatsoever, so I wasn’t able to take them.
I will not be going to any more locations! Very disappointing! :(((((((((((

I have an annual membership which I paid in full. since last week this store is closed and no one even informed customers what is going on and when I call other locations they just lie about some remodeling, construction Irvine company is doing!!! Irvine company what has to do with your interior???

My sister works for one of there locations in Kansas and told me of this plan months ago, either selling to another chain or closing for good DO NOT BELIEVE THIS RENOVATION LIE. Go spend your money elsewhere. This tanning chain obviously has no care for the customers let alone employees who think this is actually just a remodel. lol.

Good question. They don’t answer the phone or respond to emails. Great customer service. For you want to get ripped off then ignored and pay for a service you can’t use I recommend joining

This place is great, been coming here since beginning of summer and the customer service is always great and friendly. Facility is clean as can be and all their beds are top on the line. Best tanning place is been to in a while…

At The Beach is a great place to tan– the staff is wonderful and the facility is always clean. Bridget is a sweetheart, she knows a lot about the products and the beds.

Love this tanning salon mostly for all the options they offer for tanning. They have a variety of beds and I was recently introduced to the Versa… Which I love. My tan always looks amazing!!! Plus the girls that work here are really sweet.

Everyone is so nice and such amazing deals! They are always having specials and the lotions are super reasonable! I love all of the different options :)

I’ve had my membership here for the versa spa for the last three months! I love the fact that they have monthly memberships for spray tanning. It’s definitely a great deal if you spray often!

I love at the beach tanning!!! Best tanning salon in Orange County the girls are so sweet when I come in and defiantly know there knowledge when it comes to tanning lotion and the beds … I recommended coming here!!!

The staff is super helpful and sweet! The store is always clean and ready for my visit. They have the latest and greatest lotions. Great for spray tans too. Get the membership for the best value and then you can use any location.

Strongly consider taking your business elsewhere. I froze my membership and paid $ 5 a month for 6 months to ensure no activation fee once I decided to re-​activate my membership.
When I finally decided to renew they tried hitting me with ACTIVATION FEES and told me to leave and call corporate.
After arguing for some time they decided to let me tan for 10 minutes while they put together an invoice of «courtesy tans» I supposedly received earlier. They said Im going to have to pay for all of these sessions I never had in a bed I didn’t sign up for.
Things to expect if you tan here:
1. Being constantly harassed by their sales reps, because if you want to tan u need 4 lotions, 2 pre tan face creams, 4 post tan lotions, and all sorts of unnecessary products.
2. BEING HAMMERED WITH UNEXPECTED COURTESY TAN CHARGES ONCE YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL
3. Being charged 30 a month for the lowest quality bed available.
4. Calling your bank to report fraudulent activity
5. Dealing with and unethical business
6. need I say more?
So to recap, They try to rape your wallets, Before during and even when you try to cancel

STRAIGHT UP SCAMMERS
First thing they say when you inquire for signup as a new customer is «if you write a positive Unilocal review you get a $ 25 credit to your account». Keep that in mind as you’re reading these FALSE positive reviews. These are simply bribes. Their business is tanking because the shit they serve on a platter and they know they are about to eat it. If you go here expect:
1) poorly trained employees
2) the most extreme case of haggling up-​selling attempts every time you walk in on products and services
3) inconsistencies between the information each employee gives you
4) hidden and FALSE charges
5) WATCH OUT IF THEY TELL YOU A BED IS BROKEN AND OFFER A «COURTESY» SESSION IN AN UPGRADED BED. Courtesy is not free in their dictionary, but they don’t tell you that. IT IS A SCHEME THEY RAN ON SEVERAL PEOPLE !! IT WILL BE ON AN INVOICE WHEN YOU CANCEL
